I would have preferred if the movies were just called Season IV: Part I/Part II to at least remain consistent with the 3rd season since the same director and hence the same storytelling approach is going to be used.

SMC is all over the place. From the title to the format to the medium to the designs, it's a hot mess through and through.

Like what I've said here before, one thing that SMC has consistently been consistent is its being inconsistent. :P

What make me sad, is how little Toei cares for SM brand, Precure have great animation, Dragon Ball movie had release date right after it was announced, and SM? If they dont care about it or think SM is over, why not sell it? (Just not to Pierrot, please :) )

I guess they can't give an exact release date because they don't even know when the movie production will start, as its position in the waiting queue could be pushed backward anytime whenever a higher-priority project appears. :P

If we're talking simplifying the lengthy title further, just "Sailor Moon: Eclipse" would be a sufficient short 'n' sweet name.

The people at Toei don't ever want listen to the fans! I'm heartbroken & disgusted that my favorite anime series has been completely disregarded and uncared for which once was their highest priority. Not a Precure fan (except for 2 Seasons), however it does not come close to being as good as SM in my personal opinion. Too babyish of a series and not many ever darker elements (Heartcatch was interesting though).

Don't worry. Sailor Moon will turn out for the best. If it's one thing that series tells its fans to have is hope. Despite the odds, together we all, as fans can get something we can appreciate. If we're lucky and Dream and Stars are successful, we may get a brand new series.

I loved the way you worded that... How the series does tell us to have hope. I agree... If DB series can get a new series and even CCS then WHY NOT the infamous Sailor Moon series?!

Db had Sragon Ball z kaie . The new Cardcaptor sakura series had a new mangea to make a new anime with it . That was also a different company. Sailor Moon has not had a new manga.There is nothing adapt or write.
