Yeah, it's not really unheard of for people to work on multiple projects at once. Keep in mind that they're both most likely at very different points in production.
With the official SM website proudly showing off the teaser with it's character designs and release date the moment you enter, I doubt there's anything to be worried about.

I hope they replace it with trailer and exact date though. Once we have a time frame we can calm down and be more certain with it. I hadn't gone to the web site in a while and when the video poped up the first time i almost get a heart attack, before seeing it was the same teaser.

We hate it! I hope I won't get buckets of hate, but now I feel like a delay or three are quite possible...

Yet again, it's kept being pushed back to the end of the queue whenever another new anime project pops up - that's all about their production priority & theoretically can go indefinitely.

To be fair she must have started working on this way before June 30th when they announced Eternal to be released next year, so there are probably no conflicting schedules, but it is still unfair how a project that was announced like a couple of weeks ago already has a promo video and for Crystal we got some concept art after 3 years...

Even if so, her work schedule for Sailor Moon might've been extended due to her preoccupation in other, higher-priority anime projects at the same period, & such extension theoretically can also go indefinitely, depending on whether there're yet other new projects of her popping up. lol

What is it about them pushing Sailor Moon back in terms of promos or being treated with such low priority and such? Sailor Moon wasn't a one-trick pegasus when it came out, and it shouldn't be treated like that in my eyes, considering its impact on being such a beloved anime/manga series that came out in the 90's not just in Japan but around the world, and was released in Toei Animation's prime.

I think the only reason Koyonno came back. Because she was the most popuar . As for the rest it made sense that they did a recast . It was a rebbot, and they were not the same characters in the 90 s anime .
I don't agree. I think it's pretty scummy Toei Animation got Kotono Mitsuishi back to reprise her role as the main character but didn't even bother to bring back any of the other original voice actors, like they wanted to have a whole new cast with the new (mostly joke) versions of the Sailors, but also just bring back Kotono as Usagi/Sailor Moon solely for extra brownie points and nostalgia.

I can understand not having Chiyoko Kawashima reprise her roles as Shingo, Haruna-sensei and Setsuna/Sailor Pluto because she retired round about 19 years ago and now is 65 years old, nor Katsuji Mori as Nephrite considering he was 69-70 years old at the time, nor Kazuyuki Sogabe as Kunzite because he had passed away sadly in 2006, nor Kaneto Shiozawa return as Prince Diamond as he sadly died in 2000, nor Eiji Maruyama as Wiseman as he was 85 years old and sadly died a few months after the second season of Crystal ended, but seriously? Toei Animation couldn't even bring back Aya Hisakawa (who actually was working on Saint Seiya: Soul of Gold at the same time Crystal was airing, and can still do Kero-chan's voice in Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card and Skuld's voice in Ah My Goddess, kinda get my picture?), Michie Tomizawa, Emi Shinohara, Rica Fukami, Keiko Han, Yasuhiro Takato, Kae Araki, Megumi Ogata, Masako Katsuki, Yūko Minaguchi, Shino Kakinuma, Keiichi Nanba, Toru Furuya, Akiko Hiramatsu, Yuri Amano and Wakana Yamazaki, to name a few? If they could bring back Kotono, couldn't they have tried to go all the way and bring back much of the original cast as possible?

But nope, we instead had to have Cure Peace/Hisako Kanemoto as Crystal's Ami/Sailor Mercury, Ami Kochimizu/Cure Melody as Crystal's Makoto/Sailor Jupiter and Misato Fukuen/Cure Happy as Crystal's Chibi-Usa/Sailor Chibi Moon, probably only for the reason because "They're big name Pretty Cure voice actresses and Pretty Cure is our most popular current magical girl franchise so people will watch it!!" despite how miscasted those three sounded, only Ai Maeda/Cure Aqua sounded perfectly cast as Sailor Pluto in Crystal. While Fukuen, Kochimizu and Kanemoto are good actresses, they really were not good choices for those characters. Fukuen's Chibi-Usa/Chibi Moon didn't sound like a little girl but a woman pretending to be one, it was really grating, so forced to make it sound high pitched and unconvincing, only recognizable as Chibi Moon because of the "MOON PRISM POWER MAKE UP/PINK SUGAR HEART ATTACK" stuff, voicing little kids really doesn't seem to be a strong point. I felt Kochimizu's higher pitched voice and Jupiter's character didn't mix well in a way that's difficult to explain. I felt Kanemoto was too young to capture the vocal tone Ami has, and unlike with Yayoi/Cure Peace, her acting felt very bland, like she never had the appropriate vocal reaction to stuff that happened around her, like it didn't match with emotion/urgency that scenes would try to present.

I wonder if it was for monetary reasons? I figure Usagi's VA must have cost a bunch but then again. I kinda noticed how the show is about Sailor Moon & in Crystal the Inner Senshi get downplayed a bit...lol This is all Usagi's show all the way around..lol

I have no problem with the new voices, I find them well-suited and very good when they have time to shine. But if they decided to recast the rest they should have recast Usagi. Crystal was supposed to be a reboot, something new, something that stands on its own. That is why Crystal developed tgis identity crasis after season 2. I really think the lets make it more and more like the 90s anime is the wrong route. Paying tribute is obe thing but redraw the exact same transformations for the outers was a bit too much.

I liked seeing the old 90s attacks redone for Crystal. I don't know what it was but for some reason the transformations in Season III seemed weird. Like I know the first two seasons get a lot of flack but the henshins looked smooth. It's almost like you could tell they cut corners a lot in Season III.

I do enjoy it for what it was but if you really listen to things like Sailor Moon's transformation music, it sounds way too much like Pretty Cure. It doesn't have that magical feel of the old theme. I don't want to be speaking off of nostalgia but it really just didn't grab me fully.

The Outers were nice. Neptune was just there though. I also hated her transformation. It's the part with the hair flip. It looks so choppy (like Jupiter's and Venus transformations.) Are they overworking the animators at Toei or are they just throwing things out or sourcing them to another studio.

That's the only thing that Crystal was truly lacking. It needed a tad bit more depth. I feel this movie will be a chance to redeem it but you just can't be sure what's going on in Toei's land.

Like the transformation in the Universal attraction where Chibi Moon and Sailor Moon do it together looked nice. I wouldn't mind an animated version of that.

It's like the first two seasons but looks less like the PlayStation game.

I really appreciate how the first two seasons did try to change things up with the real time attacks in battle. If they would have stayed consistent with the animation & added more filler (enough to insert Casablanca Memories & develop the Shitennou x Senshi thing) I really like how the first musical did it. It paired them nicely and properly showed the Generals deceitful ways. However, I like how Zoisite kinds had stronger feeling for Ami enough to help her.

I can only hope the delay in info is that they are ensuring the product is polished. I was stoked when I heard the JoJo writer was attached. Very good adaptation and it's creepy af so the Dead Moon Arc fits the style perfectly. Coughing up black blood, and retarded spooky looking lemures are all right up the writer's alley.

I just don't know what to expect. It's a waiting game and suspenseful. What will they cut? Whatwill they keep? Will we get a SuperS power rehash? I do like that they have longer back-bows. They were hella inconsistent in the old anime.

Im really excited about seeing their princess forms, Phobos and Diesmos, human Luna, Diana and Artemis.

This would have been killer to see on the big screen. Sailor Moon Dream at the movies. I bet the Japanese fans are going to go insane with their yelling and cheering in the theater.

I hope for all these too. The waiting game is getting so long, considering there weren't technically any actual delays for the project. We still don't know a thing about it, it is supposedly coming out next year with barely no promotion now. I hope it won't flop, as cinema releases are very easy to track wheter they were successful or not compared to tv shows and movies rely a lot more on exposure and commercials. They have so many opportunities to expose the new artwork for all these new cafes and non-stop merch. As for Season 3 hensins yes they were 2d but they had very strange cuts and some parts were quite choppy.

Pretty much, though it's more like downplayed a lot...and they're treated like jokes.

While this is ot cool and all, I don't think someone's talent is related to their personality. Her performence has nothig to do with it. I like Hirano Aya as a voice actress, despite I hate her as a person. And this accident was blown out of proportions. She might have changed after all these years.

Yeesh, looks like Kise Yayoi's gonna be very sad to see that.

Hirano's version of Cha La Head Cha La (even if it's intentionally bad) sounds like Usagi Tsukino's drowning in a vat of hydrofluoric acid.

What kind of personality did she have?
