Does anyone hope Crystal will end differently then the manga?

Should Crystal end differently from how the Manga ended with the Starlights, their princess and the Moon cats dying?

They should have been reborn off-screen, because they have their own star seeds. About the cats and shitennou, I'm not sure...
What if Crystal ends with the scene Usagi throw the bouquet to the sky, remembering about Luna, Artemis and Diana? That means they're dead...

I would love to see Asanuma with Minako there as well as all of the forgotten characters. Motoki and Reika, Umino and Naru. Usagi's family, the cats, even the four generals. I know the wedding ending is very corny I totally wanna see it. Let's hope they actually adapt the Stars, although I see no reason for them to skip it now.

I hope all the "forgotten" characters will be shown in everyday situations during the credits, for example Naru and Umino going on a date, Shingo hanging out with friends, Miss Haruna at school etc.
But for the main plot - I hope Crystal follows manga as closely as possible till the end ^^
Naru and Umino aren’t a thing in this continuity though...

I only hope that the ending shows all the forgotten side characters in the manga as of the good senshi that were killed helping Usagi in civilian forms and not just the main girls at the wedding like they did with the manga (And show Queen Serenity and the Four Generals at least in spirit forms briefly watching one last time before they fully disappear to the afterlife).

I like your idea.

I just hope it won't end with the wedding, because what wouldthe message be? i want Usagi having a monologue, maybe a chat with Luna, reflecting all the long way they've come.
I think it should end with wedding. It a fits the story. The story started as a teenage girl.Ended with a woman.

I’m not coming down on you at all, but out of all the outdated and problematic, or questionable stuff in the manga a wedding is somehow not great? It’s the perfect way to end a romantic coming of age story, and tropes are not bad

Ending the epos of Sailor Moon with a wedding would give a signal that everything a girl wants and makes her happy in the end is a hollywood-like wedding, no matter if she is the guardian of the galaxy or whatever. I'm not against romantic love, but the wedding as the peak of life for a girl sounds problematic to me, especially in patriarchal society.

I'm sorry but that is bunch of crud. The wedding is not the end of her life. She is still a Queen, and rule with Mamoru. One my goal is to be married and have children. What is the problem with ending showing a marriage ?Her being married its not saying all girls wanted to get married. It just shows she, and Mamorou wanted to get Married.

I think that you’re projecting WAY hard on this... it’s not a good take.

Usagi ceases to be Sailor Moon as we know her, sure, but she rises to a different level of power as the monarch of the WORLD. It’s also ambiguous as to *when* and how far in the timeline Usagi becomes married: The Stars arc shows Crystal Tokyo during the ending (without confirming a timeskip, though) and in the Black Moon arc we’re explicitly told that Usagi ascended as NQS after reaching 22 years of age. Point is, time has passed and we don’t really know if Usagi is older but it’s inferred.
As for this supposedly pushing the “Hollywood wedding” thing, that’s easily refutable and honestly shows your bias because Usagi (as Sailor Moon) admits to fighting to defend and protect her loved ones (the whole cast) selfishly. And then there’s Cosmos who embodies the literal good of the whole Cosmos and is shown hope through Usagi, her past self, to carry on the fight for good in a ruined future. Like, come on!
This is also the same arc where Sailor Mars and Venus explicitly state that they “don’t need men”, as one goes far enough to vow being chaste for the sake of protecting her queen and the Soldier of LOVE herself has given up on her own love life (both here and in the prequel) to carry out her duty.
Sailor Moon is an old series from the 90s with some ideas and concepts that are far behind, but these that I’ve written about are much more forward thinking and do NOT give the idea of “Hey girls! Being a warrior is empowering but getting hitched is much more so”.

While i would love to see some changes, problem is, with how terrible generals subplot was, im worried it would again be a disaster.
