That's why I don't think you can judge the attacks based on a few seconds of (low quality) footage. It's clear they're inspired by the '90s anime, but I think they're not showing everything.

I think the trailer is official too, but unfinished. The clip from the 90's anime, the DALI version of Moonlight Densetsu, and the voice saying "star in my chest, give me power!" at the end are all probably placeholders.

How do you feel about the artstyle. I remember you like me and few other people prefered a more mature look. This footage convinced me the artstyle is quite good, and a pretty neat compromise. Sadly Mamoru got an appearance, but probably on purpose very brief and unrevealing. I cannot wait to see him in his style. As well as Haruka. I hope they fixed the weird headshape short haired character suffered from in S3. I hope the actual trailer has the backgrounds added.

I don't think the weird head shape of short haired characters is the problem of Tadano. Maybe her Mamoru will be so sexy, beyond the imagination.

.... or not.

there is a frame in the trailer where Usagi (and me) is suffering from that head-shape. I bet some animators are continuing to apply the season 3 style. I miss e.g. the physics of Mercury's hair. In the trailer it looks nothing like in the concept art.

Watching a trailer for what's supposed to be a new release yet seeing mainly '90s-style attack footage feels very underwhelming. :yawn:

The more i see this trailer the more i love it. Its not based on anything other than my presumption but i feel like Toei tries to redeem themselves with these movies. The movie status pretty much guarantees a better quality. Maybe not quality level of DB Broly or One Piece movies but at least of a tv special/OVA (and these are usually very good anyway). Its something that wasnt there for seasons 1-2 and was only slightly better with season 3.

it is not Muhrs, just the blur and face cannot be seen. She has nice eyes, the nos and mouth are just blurred, because the contrast is too high and the quality really bad. If we talk abouth Muhrs s3 episode 2 did the best example of her Derpcury.

Seira Hazuki Have you done some filtering, your shot looks quite clear, and it does look best and the hair is on point, the pose is still a bit awkward though.

If they really use Moonlight Densetsu, I hope they at least use the version done by the Crystal cast, which was in the 25th anniversary album. It would be neat and the Momoiro Clover Z version is bad.

OMG...now seeing them all next to eachother...how could they released that crap in s1-3? It's horrible, especially s1. I think the skirt in Eternal looks a bit stiff, but i like the body proportions. Btw...I don't really understand that white thing in the background...is it supposed to be spotlights?
