Sailor Senshi, and after that Sailor Soldiers. Both are actually canon terms, at least for the 90s anime which is pretty much the center of the franchise. ("Sailor Soldier" is sung, in English, during the Inners transformations in the SuperS movie.)
I'm sorry, but "Sailor Guardians" just sounds...
Did we ever find out what masters they're using for S, SuperS, and SailorStars? I know they said they'd be using Toei's upscaled masters but it seems those haven't actually been released yet in Japan as Madman presses on, and I read they'd continue using the Italian masters because of that.
It IS really grainy.
Right off the bat: "I embrace all things. I am the Guardian born of all love. I am... Eternal." This is REALLY flat to me for a dream sequence, and there's no "I am..."/"Watashi wa..." before Eternal.
Had to come somewhere to complain about it because that's one of my...
It just sounds better. And honestly, if "セーラー戦士"/"Sailor Senshi" can be a Japanese term, it can be an English one too.
"Sailor Soldiers" is a close second, but it almost sounds too serious.
Haruka is awesome. She didn't take ANY crap. A little cold, but that was to be expected.
It's odd seeing that someone said they can't see her without Michiru (idk who). I always thought it was the other way around, at least in the anime. Michiru didn't get developed as much, which is a shame...
Wasn't ADV releasing the DiC travesty dub around that time? I've seen people say that all they did was release what they had, particularly in regards to the subbed sets.
DVDs were fairly well established by 2003/2004.
I agree and I understand, but I just don't really understand this idea that because they're fans and they're spending money on doing... whatever they're doing to the series, we should give them a pass, as if they don't stand to make that money back and then some. Keep in mind this is money that...
That is not anything near what I said. Apparently you need to read all of my posts on this page again.
You didn't comment on my opinion. You basically told me to shut up, albeit in a very silly and indirect manner. Clearly that's not going to happen, so I have yet to understand why you're still...
I... didn't buy it and I won't buy it. Duh.
If I think they did a BAD job, that's my opinion. You do NOT have to share it and you definitely don't have to hop on my quote button about it. It goes both ways.
And they made it MORE PULCHRITUDINOUS. That's the problem. They don't deserve an A for effort, they deserve an F for Failure and that is what they have roundly been given.
And that's without going down the winding road of if their masters were actually PULCHRITUDINOUS and they didn't just mess...
