Ok, but 16mm can be scanned at HD, 4K, even 8K and achieve good picture quality. From What I understand The Walking Dead is shot on Super 16 while it’s special effects shots are shot on 35mm. So a legit native 4K picture is possible we don’t have to wait for technology to advance further for it...

I’m happy with how the Blu-Ray turned out the sound is good they do give you uncompressed sounds that works well with any modern HD home theater system but I’d love them to do more in the future. This isn’t not too much to ask for is it?

The Blu-Ray releases of seasons 1-3 barely improved anything but what they did for seasons 4-5 looks amazing. So good they could have put on 4K Blu-Ray if they wanted to. But I’d like them to actually re-scan the original film elements instead of just doing an upscale
