Yeah sounds like it. I’m not a fan of the 90’s brooch either but the manga version is really too simple to market as a toy, IMO. It also looks strangely flat.

The group shots look fine. What annoyed me more was the choppy hair animation. It’s a shoujo manga so I wanted my fluid flowy hair but nope :( It seems especially difficult for them to animate Usagi’s hair for some reason. Maybe cuz it’s so long?

Wonder if we will get some sort of announcement regarding Stars for Usagi’s birthday this year.. not expecting a poster or teaser but just an announcement and maybe a logo would be nice. Do you think they’re gonna wait until next year? Realistically I can see them maybe announcing the Blu Ray...

Stars is overloaded with too many characters and plot points for its short length. It really needed like 3-4 more chapters to flesh things out and tie up the loose ends.

As a stand-alone shot maybe it’s not that bad, but it looks like it’s from a completely different show! Totally off model. I could’ve posted season 1 and 2 but thought it was too easy :p

None of these look bad, though. If you wanna talk about bad, off model shots in season 3, though, Toei Phillipines has you covered.

I don’t really think it’s a style more like the result of a lot of a different animators and not enough time for Tandano to correct it all.

I think it burnt down with her gym a few years ago... still hilarious that Britney collects proplicas too. Love her.

Ikuko yes please. But fine with Tandano too, to be honest. Rather than a new art style tho I would much prefer them to be given more time to perfect the animation.

What I think Eternal could do with a little more of is some shading and shadows on the face. This one of Pluto is awesome
