How close will it follow the manga ending for this arc? I think we all know the ending, but could there be some twists...or at least changes to keep it a little interesting and unpredictable?

I think there must be plaining dreams, the episode was good . But it didn't feel like a finale episode . Which make sense, they animated the begening of Dream part . Interesting they did n't cut that part out . The only scene hey did cit was looking up the helicopter in the sky . I hope we get Dreams, please Crystal do not leave it like this. Than again we didn't see the say continue on the seacond seasn ending either . Only the after the firt television airing, they annouced seasion 3 . I think just like before there going to wait until the bluray relaese, and see how it sells on dvd . Than see the airings on tv, and than decide if there goig to continue.

What an emotinal episode, Sailor Saturn revealing she is not going to do bad stuff, and sacrifice herself to save the world.

And we we see baby Hotaru, so cute. Though do the inners know the baby it is Hotaru, Usagi asked the outters who that was, and Haruka changed the subject.

Wow that ending, they left us on a cliffhanger didn't expect that. I thought which is looked like at the beginning, they are going to make it seem like all loose ends are tied, this is the happy ending just in case that is it.

Looks like they are confident we are getting a season 4.

Quite worried we didn't get any hint to season 4 and they cut the part off where Chibi Moon saw the Pegasus so it ended with the bell ringing.

Hopefully we get the announcement or anything like that regarding season 4 soon.

Seasons 1-2 - Each episode had a "To Be Continued" message with "See You Soon" in Act 26.
Season 3 - Had no messages in any of them.

^Well, they left it on a small tease, kinda saying that there is more to come. Granted, not as big or spoily as the manga, but still I think they are saying that another season is arriving without actually saying it in words at the end

This episode was fantastic. The animation was really good (except when there were profile shots, especially during the first half, but what else is new?) throughout, the scene where the girls show off their high school uniforms was HILARIOUS, and there was just a lot of great music and emotion throughout.

I love that they reused the Haruka/Michiru ending. I love that they used the theme song during the "battle" scene.

Overall this season was a HUGE step up from one and two, and I personally enjoyed it more than S. HOWEVER, there is still a lot of room for improvement. If they hadn't wasted so much time every episode repeating the last 3 minutes of the previous episode, if they hadn't wasted so much time on showing stock footage attacks twice in some episodes, or on showing all the stock footage attacks in basically every episode (especially in the same order and to the same effect), and if they had held off on the ~Dream arc preview~ stuff, there would have been an extra episode's worth of screentime that they could have devoted to developing Haruka and Michiru's characters and relationship (to say nothing of other characters). I'm really mad (though not surprised) that they kept Haruka's assault on Usagi but never gave us a single HaruMichi kiss. (Nor did they really explain why Haruka kissed Usagi nor showed how Michiru felt about it...or anything, really. Poor Michiru. Poor giant-mouthed Michiru. Seriously, girl really could have used some lipstick/a smaller mouth. Her design was just...inelegant.) We could have also used more time developing Hotaru and Chibi Usa's friendship. They started off good but then...it's like they forgot about them for a few episodes, which made the sudden ~soulmate~ stuff at the end feel a bit abrupt and unearned. It also would have been nice to have actually seen the girls studying for their high school entrance exams (and Mamoru preparing for university).

tl;dr: My biggest complaint with this season was its gross time mismanagement which led to some character under-development

Still, as I said, a HUGE step up from seasons one and two. The animation was better overall (though, again, could have definitely been better), as was the writing. There was a lot of solid, genuine humor (especially in this episode) and character development. The Inners had more personality and were more useful this time around (although they kind of went away a bit in the last two or three episodes).

Season III has made me hopeful for Crystal's future. Bring on the Dream arc. Let's hope they continue to improve.

Ah its so sad to write about the last episode but at the same time its deffo not the last episode overall so im happy.

Didnt like the recap - boooring

Hovewer once that out of the way the rest episode was pretty fantastic.

Sailor Moon return with New Moon song was a nice touch and a homage to old SM (im still sad S1-2 didnt use Moon Pride in any episode)

Saturn sacrifice and Pluto's Dark Dome Close was great, im glad they changed Pluto's screaming "Saturn!" into Chibiusa which made a lot more sense.

Baby Hotaru was cute. Im so glad they did give some moment to Chibiusa-Pluto aswell. Finally. The moment of outers leaving was sad but also optimistic since Neptune left her mirror

I loved all the scened from the beginning of Dream, the humor was golden. Sailor Moon really shines in all those everyday life funny moments where the girls interract with eachother

Im kinda sad we didnt see Pegasus but im not worried about no "to be continued". They left the season completely open-ended. Thats enough of a sign they'll do it.

The animation was good. Not crazy good but nothing bad either. Solid enough to be satisfied

Bring Dream on

Some good parts in the finale, but otherwise it was just all right. Felt a bit stretched. The hint of the Dream arc was different yet it wasn't bad either. It still works without putting too many eggs in one basket. I'm sure we'll get Dream eventually.

It was nice to see Ichinohashi Park. I thought they got rid of that big tube structure, though, since the manga was released.

S3 was an improvement over S1-2 for sure. I've always found Infinity to be better than the previous two arcs so that helped a lot. Good to see Toei put some more effort in this time around. I still can't say I like it more than Sailor Moon S as they both have really good parts as well as flaws.

Nobody ends a series with such a scene: characters looking back to see something happening with an anxious soundtrack, solar eclipse happening, our girls going to a new school. SO MANY QUESTION NEEDS TO BE ANSWERED.

If they would like to end SMC here, the ending part would have been very different.

Actually, I worried a little after watching episode 26, but there is no need to question about the existence of SMC4 this time!

Or maybe Toei is mum on season 4 because it is a deliberate marketing strategy to tease the audience? Make you want it more so than when they do announce it, they can reap the media publicity as well.

Kinda like that whole is "Jon dead" in "Game of Thrones" question. The producers were silent on Jon's fate for the longest time. Toei may well do the same with season 4 to build anticipation.

This episode left me feeling hopeful for the future of Sailor Moon Crystal and Toei can continually improve along the way. It's what I expected for a finale episode and the pacing of everything- I just hope next season they won't depend so much on the three minute recaps at the beginning of an episode. That got very tiresome.

I was wishing for a bit of "Moon Pride" to be thrown in there (because I'm honestly not a fan of this season's theme song). Oh well. It was great to see the original ending with Michiru's and Haruka's duet :D

Here's to hoping for some Dream Arc news in a couple months! :smug:
