I love this! Abstract Sailor Moon is the best Sailor Moon

We should get organized and colorize all the manga using this site.

I would actually be very willing to do something like this with this site. It would require a lot of teamwork and communication, though. Like "Minako is wearing the same clothes from one chapter to the next, do we let the colors bleed around and be random or do we try to be consistent?" Or "Each person is responsible for a different chapter and they can do whatever the **** they want"? Or maybe "Some chapters should be more realistic while others can be more ethereal and dreamy"? There are a lot of things to consider depending on how many people want to do it and what the project would look like.

I would say everyone can pick a chapter and do whatever they want with it. They can make the pages as realistic or as dreamy, as consistent or as random as they like. A fan project such as this should be a way for each of us to realize our version of a colorized manga. One great big abstract hodgepodge. But that's just my idea. Let's see if anyone else is interested and what they'd like to do.

It would be nice to use scans of the Perfect Edition since those would be of the highest res. I was able to get Acts 1-6 of Miss Dream's scans off the Wayback Machine, but I don't have the rest, so either someone else would be willing to contribute those or we'd have to use scans from MD's scanlation of the first revised manga.

I'd also say that, if possible, text should be removed from the pages first since they seem to throw off the program a bit and you just end up with smudged looking text anyway.

You may notice the [THE HAPPY PLACE] logo was removed and replaced with SAILORMOON FORUMS + SUBURBAN SENSHI. Xadium colorized it and changed the logo as part of his ownership of the site. It's probably going to be only noticeable change for a good while.

Wow amazing! I need to try this... Would be really nice to see the whole thing done. I think if it were a volume/chapter per person that works well as a quick "let's do some ART!" kind of project . Could have a nomination and vote for the top 3 pages/frames from each artist and compile that as a nice little feature~. Just an idea anyway.
