I picked Japanese for many many reasons. However I am a fan of both.

Which do you pick?

I like the DiC BGM more but I prefer the Japanese battle themes, I lift to Saturns battle theme!

To no one's surprise, I picked Japanese also! There's a lot more music, and a lot more love in the Japanese scoring. Every piece is done by a full orchestra, where Dic was fond of the synthesizer (to be fair, many were in the 90s).

Japanese of course. I still listen those BGM while i'm on internet, they are addicting
DiC music must get those votes from nostalgia factor mostly. I think they are no different from any generic cartoon theme, no offense.

DiC. I feel the DiC music has personality while the Japanese score feels bland. I do like some of the songs however.

Japanese is more elaborate and actually bases it on a wide variety of genres like Jazz, Rock, ect.. DiC focused on this kiddy pop theme for most of their music or a superhero one.. the former is clearly more innovative.

While I like the DIC music I prefer the Japanese one better so I voted Japanese
However it's safe to say I like both in dic's case it's vocal songs are what I like most about it like Carry on, rainy day man, and my only love just to name a few favs, the bgm is ok but it's no match for the Japanese bgm which sounds like the music I generally listen to jazz rock even disco etc.

Though I do like some of DiC's music, the Japanese music still wins for me. When I first saw the sub and Usagi's transformation music I literally got chills at how good it was!

I think it would have been more interesting if the options were:

Likes both, prefers the Japanese music
Only likes the Japanese music, but likes some of the Dic music
Only likes the Japanese music, detest the DiC music
Likes both equally
Prefers the DiC music but likes some of the Japanese music
Only likes the DiC music, doesn't care for the Japanese music.

I like all the Japanese music/BGM, and the sung DiC songs.

I like some of DiC's music. Though it's a product of the
time and limited. My vote goes to the original Japanese
soundtrack. DiC can't compare to the epicness that the
Sailor Starlight transformation music.

Japanese. The DiC music got way too repetitive that it had gotten to a point where they don't fit a scene or it never managed to fit in to begin with.
