We saw that Pluto was already at the Crystal Palace in another future scene shown earlier in the Stars arc. Since she was seen again in the later scene, it stands to reason that she was still there at the time and hadn't yet left before the moment where she and the others started to disappear.

The disappearing scene is indeed shown from Chibiusa's perspective. We see what she sees. She sees Pluto among those present at the palace who began to disappear.

More then likely the outers do exist, they don't hang out with the inner court on Earth/Moon in the future. Hey, someone has to protect the rest of the solar system while the Queen and her bunch are hanging out in crystal tokyo!

Yes, it is which shows the reason the rest of the outers are not shown.

^Not just that but also during Infinty arc when Outers explain to the rest who Saturn is and how dangerous she is Chibiusa shows no sign that she ever heard about Sailor Saturn. Otherwise she'd use that argument against Outers when they intend to kill Hotaru. She would say "but she's our ally in the future". Chibiusa also doesnt recognize Uranus and Neptune when they first appear. So its either 1. They dont exist in the future or 2. Naoko has no explanation for this obvious plothole. I think its both

But wasn’t the whole reason that Uranus, Neptune, Pluto And Saturn awakened a snag in the timeline due to the Death Busters?

I think that the future from the Black Moon arc ended up changing as the action in present time changed (or there’s several timelines, but there seems to be only one). We can argue that the Senshi dying in the past and erasing from the Crystal Tokyo of the future could work in the opposite manner: the Outers awakening when they otherwise wouldn’t cause them to exist in the future timeline.

...it still doesn’t answer the question and I think that it’s likely an oversight. Maybe Uranus and Neptune just married and Saturn is away at a grim reaper convention?

Why would Chibiusa speak the names of people that weren't in the same room as her among those disappearing right before her eyes at that particular moment?

In fact, it's not like she spoke everyone's name in that scene either. She only called out to her father and Pluto. None of the Inners got namedropped by her. She only acknowledged those in the same room with her who were disappearing at the time because they were the ones disappearing in the same room with her at that time.

Pluto, King Endymion, and the Inners are all in the same room. And while Chibiusa only singles out "Papa" and "Pluto" (which makes sense since they're the two out of the six to whom she'd naturally be the closest and by whose disappearance she'd be most affected), she still acknowledges "everyone" in the room. There's no logical reason why, if Uranus, Neptune, and Saturn exist in this Crystal Tokyo/30th Century future, NEITHER Neo Queen Serenity NOR Chibiusa express any concern about them. NQS could have easily said, "I'm worried... I've tried contacting the others, but I haven't heard from them... I hope they're okay..." but she didn't. To me, that raises the question of whether or not they exist in this future. If they do, that raises the further question of why do NQS and/or Chibiusa seem completely unconcerned about them.

This isn't a topic that can/will ever be resolved unless and until Naoko is asked about it and gives us her answer; I just thought it would be fun and interesting to speculate and see what everyone around here thinks.

The fact that Pluto is even there is a huge continuity error. Future!Pluto sacrificed herself during the Black Moon arc and was reborn as a normal civilian in the present time. At that point in Chibiusa’s future, during the Stars arc, there shouldn’t be any Pluto at the Space-Time door. Especially considering how much of a fuss was made that Pluto cannot leave the door.

I've been thinking about making a thread about this, but:

1) Pluto/Setsuna is given two different stories in Infinity. In Act 32, Pluto says she was reincarnated thanks to Neo Queen Serenity, who lent her her power. But then in Act 33, Michiru (who I believe is the one speaking) suggests she, Uranus, and Pluto were all reincarnated on Earth along with everyone else following the collapse of Silver Millennium (the artwork supports this). WHICH IS IT?

2) Like you said, in the BMC arc there's much ado about Pluto's not being allowed to leave the Door of Space-Time. But...why? Diana, a helpless kitten, is able to take over Pluto's job (however briefly). When Pluto "dies", no one seems at all concerned about who will guard the door. Literally no one but the Sailors and Tuxedo Mask ever seem to visit the Door. King Endymion himself says only people who are from the Moon Kingdom are able to approach it, and we never see any villains attempt to go through it. In fact, that the Black Moon Clan found another way to travel through time seems to render Pluto's whole job and the whole concept of the Door pointless. Pluto's role/responsibilities are further made ridiculous when you realize that she literally gives away Time Keys to almost every character she meets. Not only does Pluto's job make zero sense, she's also incredibly bad at it.

Also, this may be a bit off-topic (but since I'm the creator of this thread, I think I get to decide what is and isn't on-topic ), but while we're talking about who does and doesn't exist in Crystal Tokyo... Why exactly don't the Four Heavenly Kings (seem to) exist there/then? At the end of the Dream arc, we see that Neo Queen Serenity has the power to revive the Amazon/Sailor Quartet from their gems, so why can't/doesn't she do the same with the Four Kings? Mamoru has their gems after all, and their souls clearly still exist... Again, probably just an oversight on Naoko's part, but it's a pretty weird oversight all the same. Or maybe Mamoru and Usagi just never cared enough to revive them

(And speaking of revivals... What exactly was the point of the Moon Kingdom's being restored at the end of the DK arc if Naoko was just going to have future!Usagi rule from Earth via Crystal Tokyo? Why not have her rule from the Moon? Why have the Moon Kingdom be restored only to leave it unoccupied and unvisited for the rest of eternity?)

There was a point in the manga when NQS said that Chibiusa was going to be educated on something at the palace of the Moon Kingdom, so it seems to have become an institution of some kind by Crystal Tokyo's time.

She says Chibiusa has classes on Moon Island*. Who knows where that is?

(According to the Kodansha translation. Miss Dream's translation copies Kurozuki's, saying "one of the Moon's remote palaces." The Tokyopop translation simply mentions Chibiusa has classes without specifying where.)

The Alex Glover translation of that particular line of NQS's is not exactly the same as the Miss Dream version: "Tomorrow you will begin your curriculum of education at the remote palace on the moon." I have no idea why Miss Dream chose to make their version sound more ambiguous, as if to suggest that the moon had more than one palace on it.

And I really hope the Eternal Edition fixes that bleh translation of "Moon Island".

Do you have the Japanese text of that line? I'm guessing Alex's translation is more accurate than Kodansha's? It would certainly make more sense/be a nice touch if, in the future, the Moon Palace were serving as some sort of academy, rather than have Chibiusa attend some random villa on some random made-up island.

I have scans of the first run version of the manga. Here the page where NQS says the line:

Asu wa Tsukishima no rikyū de kyōiku karikyuramu o kaishi shimasu

Based on Google's and Bing's translation engines, I'd judge the Kodansha "Moon Island" translation is the correct one, and Alex Glover and Miss Dream are wrong.
