Does anyone hope Crystal will end differently then the manga?

While i would love to see some changes, problem is, with how terrible generals subplot was, im worried it would again be a disaster.
i don’t think a change would be as bad as the generals subplot. If we get movies for Stars, it’s production will likely not be as bad or rushed as Crystal s1 was, where you could see that the writers wanted to develop things out but we’re probably unable due to time/budget

The manga never answered a question: what becomes of Usagi's family in the future?
Usagi by becoming Neo Queen Serenity she put a cross to her old life to embrace this new path?
We don't talk about her family anymore.

And answer once and for all if Sailor Cosmos = Usagi (the Usagi we follow from volume 1).
For me it is, but it would be nice to have a real confirmation.

it’s inferred that Galaxia kills everyone on Earth. No family to worry about when they’re all dead :P

Can’t wait for Stars, an updated animated version of the manga under Naoko’s supervision and a team of creative writers. I don’t mind changes, as long as they make sense and the story better.
I do too!

Not really. They usually change the battle scenes most of the time. Not sure how that's gonna be like in Stars as all her former allies spam their fusion spells from what spoilers I've seen here.
it better not be some lame ass thing like stock footage with red eyes like in season 3

Well, at least they didn't reuse the stock footage for Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune in that scene. We can say they were not "lazy" with the standard of SMC3.
Don't forget :setsuna:'s.

I love that battle scene. Though I wished they could've have added more as Cyprine and Ptilol just watched for the next few minutes without doing much when Super Sailormoon awakened. But its definitely better than :minako: using her Chain Wink Sword animation on the ground when she's clearly flying right above Mistress 9. It's mix bag when it comes to S3.

Whar? They totally were lazy at certain points. We didn’t need the stick footage spam for the last 2/3 episodes and we got it. As the post above pointed out, Venus’ attack didn’t even make sense as it was used because it was stock footage instead of real time.

I just hope it won't end with the wedding, because what would the message be? I want Usagi having a monologue, maybe a chat with Luna, reflecting all the long way they've come.
That's a good idea. I'm not saying they shouldn't include the wedding or that iconic last panel, but they could have a little scene afterwards as an epilogue. It would not only ameliorate the arguably sexist aspect of culminating Usagi's story with a wedding, but it would be a better narrative choice too, in my opinion.

I think the issue with that. The story is not about Usagi, and Luna.It was about Usagi. It didn't begin with Luna, and Usagi. It begin with Usagi. There is no sexist undertones by having it end with wedding.
The story is not about Usagi becoming a wife.

So a good compromise/end for me would be:

1. wedding with mamoru + friends
2. talk with luna
3. monologue

The End

Having a wedding dosen't mean the manga goal or was to become a wife .Your also forgetting Mamorou, and Usagi relationship was one of the huge aspects of the manga.Ending it with a wedding a party with all the senshie made sense. In Crystal Tokyo.
You keep forgetting that she is a queen now. That she is ruling with Mamorou, and soon will have chibiusa?
You really think it's sexist? That it's sexist to show at the end.To show she is happy. She is getting married to the man she love.A man she was not allowed to be with in her first life. She with her friends as support .Going through all the trauma, and death. Also none this means she is going to live happily ever after.Parts of Chaos is still out there. She is still a Queen, and have work to do
