Dub vs Sub:Why do some fans hate on the dubs (both)?

I only watch anime dubbed with few rare exceptions. I watched the ADV subs of season 1 a long time ago because I wanted to see how badly DiC butchered the show.

I’m glad Viz did a proper dub.
