Here we can discuss random episodes that you take personal love or hate towards. As long as we all respect each other's opinions, as I usually do myself, everything'll be just fine.

My personal likes:

Episode 6: Now this one's a rare gem right here. Maybe I just love jazz, but this one out of all the first few Season 1 episodes really clicks with me in terms of character - a cute little musician love story that brought a smile to my face. We also got to see a pretty funny disguise from Usagi, as well as a glimpse of her wit and capability in the battle.

Episode 15: I don't get why people hate this one, personally I thought it was a lot of fun getting onto Rei's fun side. The little sidestory with the parkkeeper I could do without though.

Episode 20: A break from the formula?! Now this was a pretty decent twist of events that me and my MyAnimeList watching pal both enjoyed. Gotta love some zany Usagi once in a while, and for once the team didn't really pull off the day saving, but rather the spooky spirit girl. ;) Still more cute, actually good side character relationships that are a rare treat.

29: Makoto loves Motoki, then Usagi does... you probably know the rest. Hilarious, cute, and MAKOTO.

48: I should give special mention to the part with everyone trying to take down the Cardian with no sailor powers whatsoever :D After a bit of a lackluster return earlier, this really spruced up the Doom Tree anticipation (no pun intended).

49: One of the best Makoto episodes, and a pretty smooth entrance by Moonlight Knight too. Seeing strong new and old bonds of friendship from you-know-who in action was the best, and I especially loved that big burst of anger before Jupiter took down Fallion. Bit of a shame we didn't see Shinozaki again afterwards... That song in the dub was sweet goodness too.

100: We usually expect pep and fun from Minako, but this was probably a much better case of drama from her than you'd expect. It's best I call this the proper edition of episode 42

Disliked episodes:

Episode 7: Oh dear Moon overlord... This was the most boring episode I ever had to watch. At least the previous few season 1 fillers had some redeeming traits and character, but this was just so BRAN FLAKES BORING that I pretty much skipped about 5 minutes of episode when I first watched it.

Episode 59: I gotta say this last episode in a relatively flawed but decent story arc left a good bit to be desired. I mean, the big Knight reveal was just all too lazy...

Episode 69: The breakup storyline was a bit unnecessary and cruel, but an interesting twist in my opinion... this is a different story. This episode took rubbing the unecessarity and cruelty a tad too far - I mean, what was the point? There wasn't much contributed to anything, and all it served was pointless sadness, and just plain padding! I have to give mention to the part with Usagi in the deep sleep spell, which was definitely the lowlight here: everyone just says her name and fails to wake her. That's it - like a cheap imitation of the final scene in the R movie, and I didn't even think the story of THAT was the best thing either!

...that's pretty much all I can think of from the top of my head.

Episode six has always stood out to me, too. When I first watched it at age 12 I liked its darker and more mature tone. The jazz music and Usagi sneaking into a bar were also a plus for me.

Episode 105, where Mako trains in the mountain, is a personal favorite of mine. It's just fun watching the girls goof around while they're at the temple and resort.

I really like episode 146 (Princess Rubina's episode), even though I get the feeling a lot of fans dislike that episode. It's just always been a fun, amusing episode for me. Rubina is cute the way she's adoring every mundane aspect of city life, and it's fun watching the way Usagi and Chibiusa react to her naivete. I also love Elephanko.

Honestly, that episode in the first season in which Ami, Rei, and Usagi go to the beach and investigate the "ghost" with the monster hotel staff...that's actually one of my favorite episodes of the entire show. XD It's completely disconnected from the rest of the Dark Kingdom arc, but I just love it so much. I love the beach/the ocean, and I also love Halloween, so having a ghost/supernatural episode set near the shore really does it for me. It's so different from the rest of the show in a good way. When I feel like watching classic Sailor Moon, I almost always go for this episode (so much so that I should probably pick different episodes next time!).

I also really like the episode in Sailor Stars in which everyone ends up at Usagi's house for one reason or another and hilarity ensues.

The Uranus/Neptune "origin" episode in S is a big favorite of mine, as well. Very re-watchable. For some reason, I also love the episode with Viluy in it, and I tend to love all of Fish Eye's episodes in SuperS.

Nurse Venus from R is another one. Oh man. Not to mention the episode in which she wants her pure heart crystal stolen in S, or the SuperS episode in which she dates both Hawk's Eye and Tiger's Eye, or really any Minako episode.

Ah, I LOVE all of those ones! ESPECIALLY the ones with Uranus's origin, and Nurse Minako. No matter how many times I rewatch the scene where she takes care of Rei, I never fail to laugh. :D

Actually, the list I put down was just the rare gems that I didn't really think many other people gave as much attention to. All the big episodes that everybody knows you all love, I obviously love too, but I just wanted to put some down that didn't immediately come to mind. ;3

And more that popped into my head: Chibi Moon's debut in S and the tea ceremony episode that followed it. Those two were the funniest, especially the great animation in the former - watch the scene where the gang hides from Rei and you'll know what I mean.

My all time favorite episode is Stars episode 186, "Chibi Chibi's Mystery, The Big Noisy Chase." I just always loved how hilarious this episode is, with everyone following Usagi around and not realizing she's following Chibi Chibi because she thinks there's a world of sweets. The comedy is just so spot on in this episode with the Guardians trying to catch all the breakable valuables and Chibi Chibi not having a care in the wold. This episode just cracks me up every time I see it. Even though I love Luna/Artemis, the Rhett Butler episode is still one of my favs. Rhett Butler is such a lovable character and we don't get too many Luna-centric episodes, so I really love it for all the focus on Luna. There's honestly not that many 90s anime episodes I truly hate. Even the infamous episode 67, in spite of my criticisms of it, is still pretty fun and I enjoy it overall. If I had to pick a least favorite episode, I would probably say the weight loss episode. I never liked how the episode seems to rely on stereotypical portrayals of teen girls and relies on some troubling fat shaming humor. The only scene I love of the episode is the scene of Sailor Moon punching the bad guys and I wish we got more action scenes like that in the 90s anime. But overall I feel like it doesn't really add to Usagi's character development any and the troubling themes of it make it difficult for me to appreciate it.

Cuddling With Ami-Chan!

the ones I hate are all of stars after the Nehelenia Mini Arc and all the pointless beach episodes (not counting the one were Shingo fell in love with Ami-Chan and tried protecting her from Tigers Eye), other than that I loved the entire 90s anime
