With all due respect, I can see why you wouldn't do that idea.
Huh? Why? Was there something you liked about it? :D
No, just didn't want to offend you.

LOL, for some reason this whole time I've been reading that as "can't see why you wouldn't" xD

Don't worry, I'm not offended, I'm the one who said it was lame in the first place.

I've had this idea going through my head for a while now, so nothing of it is fully set in stone. But what I've thought of it so far is this.

It is set after the end of the Sailor Stars anime, and features things that were exclusive to the manga and PGSM!

Following the battle between Sailor Moon and the Chaos-possessed Sailor Galaxia, Chaos had been expelled from Galaxia's body and everyone who had died from his attack had been revived. The Sailor Stalights and Princess Kakyuu returned to Kinmoku, and the ten members of the Sailor Team can finally return to their normal lives.

However, all is not what it seems. Both Rei and Michiru are receiving strong feelings about something that is going to happen (while observing her fire, Rei is horrified as the fire burns up so greatly that it actually breaks the firebox that its in, and Michiru's Deep Aqua Mirror actually cracks on its own, to her own shock).

Before he was defeated, Chaos had anticipated the possibility of his defeat. Following his demise, three dark figures appeared in space. Then they vanished, reappearing in an unknown location that is their hideout. In this place, they are fully concealed from any detection by the Outers (remember how easily the Outers detected the presence of the Death Busters?). The three discuss how their master Chaos has fallen, and that it has become their mission to ensure that his revival is secure. In addition to that, they are to find a way to accelerate his ressurrection as soon as possible, as well as locate the ones responsible for his defeat and make them suffer (but not kill them, as these three are in the belief that that honor should be given to Chaos once he is revived).

The three figures are the cool, cunning, calculating, and honorable leader Tartarus (he looks kinda like Marvel's Mister Sinister in blue armor); the ill-tempered, aggressive Erebus (he has long fiery red hair, a small pointed red goatee, and wears dark gray armor); and the mysterious and manipulative Nyx (she wears long black robes and a black veil over her face, revealing only her eyes, loking kinda like Marvel's Dust character). Together, these fearsome three form the mighty Primordial Imperium.

The plot involves the Sailor Senshi fighting against the Imperium. Unlike the previous villains, these three actually fight against the Senshi themselves, alongside their monsters-of-the-day (whose name I can't think of yet). Unlike previous MOTDs, their MOTDs don't get destroyed every "episode". They each last for at least two episodes, as they are smart enough to know when to retreat so they don't get killed as often like the past MOTDs did.

Near the beginning, Tartarus reveals his presence to the Senshi and during their initial encounter with him, the Inner Senshi face him directly, but he proves that he is too powerful for them to defeat, and to make matters worse for them, Tartarus shoots out energy beams at Sailor Moon, and then at the four Guardian Senshi, that grab each of them and start draining away their Sailor Senshi powers. He intended to strip them of their powers completely, but an interference from Tuxedo Kamen and the Outer Senshi prevents him from draining them completely. When he retreats, he takes the powers that he sucked out of them along with him. The five Inner Senshi are still alive but have been seriously depowered back to their original Sailor Senshi powers from Classic.

Because of this, the Outers, who were not present at the energy-draining, take a more prominent role (to make up for their lacking roles in Sailor Stars), and Luna works to give the Inners new Senshi powers to substitute for the ones that they lost. The result is their PGSM forms and abilities (Moon also get a new weapon in the form of the Moonlight Stick, which she notices is similar to her old Moon Stick).

There's more that happens that I wish to talk about, but right now, I need a break. :dead:

Well, how would moon vs Rodan be different than her fight with Esmeraude?
Rodan's a badass. Powerful gusts of wind, incredible speed, the Senshi might actually have a hard time fighting something like that.

And Sabrblade, that actually sounds pretty cool. What else you got?

Contunuing from where I left off.

Since Tartarus forbids any of his minions from trying to kill the Sailor Senshi (that honor is being reserved for their master once he is revived), they have to resort to merely making them suffer without murdering them.

Two subplots involve them making trouble for Usagi. In one, during a fight against a MOTDs, the MOTD attacks Sailor Moon's brooch (which houses the Silver Crystal), damaging it. When Luna fixes it, everyone thinks that that problem has been solved. However, something is still wrong with the Silver Crystal. At random moments of the day, it starts flashing and glowing. Now, when this happens, Usagi able to calm it down through her will. But sometimes, it will activate on its own and change her into her Princess Serenity form without warning. When this happens, it's rather difficult for Usagi to fight off this transformation and must hide from sight until she can get herself back into her civilian form. The result is several humorous moments of Usagi keeping her Princess form concealed from her friends, family, and anyone else, while at the same time trying not to act suspicious or weird.

While that subplot involves an inconvience for Usagi, this one is a little more emotional. Upon learning that Usagi is Sailor Moon, one of the minions also learns of her relationship with Tuxedo Kamen/Mamoru. To make Usagi even more miserable, Mamoru would be abducted from his own apartment, have his memory erased completely (again) and then be dropped off somewhere outside Tokyo, perhaps in a farming community somewhere (also, he wouldn't have any ID on his person at the time that he was kidnapped). Anyways, Usagi would be concerned about Mamoru's sudden disappearance and would want to try and find him, but she wouldn't know how. (Maybe filing a report of him missing to the police would help, but it wouldn't get very far right away.) This problem wouldn't be solved right away, so Tuxedo Kamen would be absent for a while.

Before I reveal how this would be resolved, some events happen around this time. A new member of the Imperium enters the war, Typhos, a sort of "son" of Tartarus (not really his son, but their relationship is sort of like a father-son one). Also at this time, a new transfer student starts attending the same high school as Usagi and friends. His name is Ryu Susano'o. He's tall, mysterious, and keeps to himself, and labeled by the other students with the "bad boy" stereotype, yet several of the girls are attracted to him (like how they were to Sejuurou/Ail and the Three Lights). He looks kinda like a teenage Prince Demand, white hair and all. However, he isn't what he appears to be (he is Typhos in disguise).

His objective is to find the civilian idenities of the Sailor Senshi (aside from Moon, whom at this point, they've identified as Usagi Tsukino) as well as their weaknesses, so they can exploit them. At the same time, Ryu becomes drawn to Usagi. Not exactly because he's falling for her, but because he simply desires to possess her as if she were a material item.

Meanwhile, Mamoru had been taken in by a family in a Japanese farming community. They gave him shelter and a job working for them. However, his memories still haven't returned. He's also been having nightmares of his past, in which he sees images of all the times he either died or almost died while protecting Usagi/Sailor Moon. Since her face is the only other face than his own that he sees in this nightmares, he's convinced that that girl has to do with his memory loss and that she spells disaster for him. These feelings result in him being unsure whether or not he wants to remember his past anymore, as the life he currently has is a nice, peaceful one without the suffering he endures in his nightmares. Not to mention that he's become good friends with the daughter of the family that took him in (I'm thinking of naming her "Hina", after Hina Kusaka from PGSM), yet he still has a feeling that something is a miss when he's with her.

More to come, I need another break. :dead:

Here's some more of it.

After Ryu discovers the identities of the Inner Senshi (but they don't know that he did, nor do they know that he's their enemy), he's given a new mission: to carry out an experiment of Nyx's of trying to turn one of the Sailor Senshi to their side. The first of the girls that Ryu runs into happens to be Ami. At first he asks to talk to her, and since Ami wasn't busy at that moment, she lets him. However, he begins speaking to her in a seductive manner and she tries to walk away, but his powers kick in and she is caught in his influence. In the past, other MOTDs tried to turn against her friends (like that one in R episode 80), but they were unsuccessful. But Ryu/Typhos is no MOTD, his powers were significantly better. He eventually lets her go free... until the Sailor Senshi have an encounter with Typhos and a MOTD later that day. It is here, that Typhos activates his manipulation powers and something happens to Ami. With the words, "Dark Power, Make Up!" Ami is transformed into Dark Mercury. Merciless, ruthless, cunning, and calculating, Dark Mercury is a formidable opponent that the Sailor Senshi do not wish to fight.

And now let's resolve Mamoru's situation. While working with "Hina's" family, Mamoru has been given the offer of staying with them permanently. Mamoru really likes this family and feels comfortable being with them. He takes their offer into consideration, but before he can give his final decision, he gets into an accident and suffers a severe head injury. Rushed to the hospital, Mamoru lies unconcious, weak, and fading fast. However, a last glimmer of hope appears to him in a dream in the form of Helios. Helios sensed his Prince was in mortal danger and could not stand by and let him die. Helios restores Mamoru's memories, heals his wounds, and lastly, gives him a special gift: the Golden Crystal. Upon his recovery, Mamoru returns to the family that took him in and properly introduces himself. He thanks them for their hospitality, and says that now that his memory has recovered, he must return to his real home. They understand and let him go his own way. "Hina" is not upset by this, as she had always hoped his memories would return and knew that this day would come. She wants him to be happy even if she isn't to be with him.

At this point, Sailor Moon is fighting a MOTD, named "Echidna", by herself. This one is significantly strong, and has her on the ground, injured. Just as it's about to strike her, something strikes it. Both Moon and the monster look down and see what it was that hit Echidna: a red rose. Sailor Moon is frozen upon seeing this. She was shocked to see it and almost burst into tears (as she had previously seen a rose thrown by someone other that Tuxedo Kamen in Sailor Stars episode 194). She looks up and sees a figure walking towards her and the monster: and it is in fact Tuxedo Kamen! However, he is not smiling.

Suddenly, a bright, blinding light shoots out of the rose's center, blinding Echidna. Tuxedo Kamen quickly discards his tux, hat, and cape, wearing only his mask and civilian clothes. He then reaches in his pocket and pulls out a small black pen-like object with a tiny version of the Golden Crystal set atop it. He cries out the words "Golden Crystal Power, (*something*) Up!" (haven't figured out what the male version of "Make Up!" would be yet) and undergoes a transformation. He appears in his Prince Endymion armor, but all his black/dark blue armor and cape turn white; the teal designs on his torso, his dark gray leg armor, the blade of his sword, and his shoulder armor pieces all turn gold, the red inside of his cape turns pale blue, and gold streak marks appear on the back of his newly-white cape (and he still wears his Tuxedo Kamen mask). At the end of this transformation, Mamoru has become Elysion Knight Endymion (color scheme inspried by the colors of PGSM Endymion's armor), which will remain as his proper combat form for the remainder of the story.

When the light clears, Sailor Moon sees that the red rose has turned golden yellow, and looks up and is stunned to see Mamoru in his new form. Endymion lunges at Echidna, and a battle ensues. To make a long story short, the fight ends not with Endymion weakening the monster and having Sailor Moon destroy it (yes, I'm avoiding that cliché), but with Endymion finishing off Echidna all on his own. He approaches Sailor Moon, who's trying to hold back her tears of joy, and the two embrace each other. Eventually, they explain to each other all that has happened to each other, and Mamoru promises Usagi that they will get Ami back.

And then there's more, but I'm taking another break. :dead:

Dark Mercury is a powerful enemy. The Sailor Senshi cannot beat her because they do not wish to harm their friend. Erebus takes notice of how she can easily defeat the Sailor Senshi, but never kills them because of Tartarus's order to not to. He becomes angered that his leader will not take the extra step of fully avenging their fallen master by taking the lives of those who defeated Chaos. As a test of her loyalty, Erebus takes the powers previously stolen from the Inner Senshi by Tartarus and gives them to Dark Mercury, telling her to "use them as she wishes" when next she fights her former comrades.

And during that next fight between her and the Senshi, Dark Mercury is even more powerful. She easily wipes the floor with the Inners, Outers, and Endymion (the latter two put up the most fight). However, she becomes more and more insane with her excessive powers and can no longer fully control them anymore. This results in her unleashing violent attacks on the Senshi, wounding them badly. She could've killed them, had not there been an interference... by Tartarus! He appeared before Dark Mercury, attacked her, and scolded her for her disobedience of his order to not kill the Sailor Senshi yet. He then banishes her from the Imperium, stating that she can no longer be trusted.

Feeling betrayed, Dark Mercury doesn't know what to do now. She goes berserk with feelings of anguish and abandonment. Usagi and the others try to reach her, but more attacks heavily rain down on them as they try to approach her. After a long emotional moment of Usagi crying out Ami's name and Darkury attacking Usagi, Usagi reaches her friend, who by this point is exhausted and has burst into tears. Usagi holds her frineds in her arms and reminds Ami of who her real friends are. With the power of their friendship and the Silver Crystal, Ami is purified to her true self. Erebus is watching this, and sends down a multiple of MOTDs to deal with her so she can't link him to what just happened to her.

Ami still has the extra powers given to her by Erebus and is having difficulty containing them. It is suggested that she try to give them back to the others, as it was from them that the powers were taken in the first place. The result was an amazing miracle. The stolen Super Form powers taken from Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus + their current substitute PGSM-inspired powers = an overload of energy that gave birth to their final "Eternal" forms that appeared in the manga. However, in Moon case, it was her Eternal form powers that were stolen in the first place, so she took back only enough of her stolen powers to restore her Eternal form (she had gotten more power from her PGSM-inspired form), and she then passed on the rest of her powers that she didn't need to the Outers, who combined it with their own powers to form their final "Eternal" forms. Using their newfound powers, they destroy the bunch of MOTDs that Erebus sent after them.

After this, Erebus is questioned for his actions, and Typhos is pleased that his "rival" may be demoted a bit. But Nyx uses her "persuasion" to change Tartarus's mind about punishing Erebus. She reminds him that Mercury was just an experiment, and points out that Sailor Moon possesses an item that may prove useful to the Imperium: the Silver Crystal. The Primordial Imperium now turns its attention directly to Sailor Moon and her Silver Crystal...

Break time! :dead:

Having gained their new Eternal forms, the Sailor Senshi also gain new attacks. Particularly, the Guardian Senshi each gain an attack that is based on one of the animals of the Four Symbols of the Chinese Constellations. Mercury's attack is based on the Tortoise of the North, Mars's attack is based on the Phoenix of the South, Jupiter's attack is based on the Dragon of the East, and Venus's attack is based on the Tiger of the West. And as a bonus, Saturn gets attack that is based on the Dragon of the Center.

With these new powers also come new revelations: Sailor Moon is not the only Princess of the group. Each member of the Sailor Team is royalty (this was left out of the anime for who-knows-why) and their castles are introduced. Mercury's Mariner Castle, Venus's Magellan Castle, Mars's Phobos Deimos Castle, Jupiter's Io Castle, Saturn's Titan Castle, Uranus's Miranda Castle, Neptune's Triton Castle, and Pluto's Charon Castle all appear at last. And with their appearances, the Sailor Senshi summon power from each of their castles and concentrate that energy into a single spot on the Mare Serenitatis, the Sea of Serenity, on the Moon, to fully restore the long destroyed Moon Kingdom (why it wasn't restored when it was in the manga is beyond me).

Now that the Primordial Imperium knows of Sailor Moon possessing the Silver Crystal, they deduce that she must be Princess Serenity, whom they refer to as the "Daughter of Selene" (A.K.A. Queen Serenity). She and the Crystal have become their new target and Typhos is given his new order: do to Sailor Moon what he did to Sailor Mercury.

Usagi begins having strange dreams of someone telling her of a great tragedy that is going to happen. Whenever Usagi tries to question this voice, she gets no answer and the dream ends. At first Usagi brushes this dream off as nothing important, but it starts to reoccur night after night. When she finally tells the others about it, they decide to make sure that they are ready for anything.

At school, Ryu approaches Usagi and asks to talk with her. Having noticed that he seemed to have taken an interest in her this semester, she tries to nicely explain that she has a boyfriend, but she's taken in by his eyes and almost falls into his trap like Ami did, but Makoto walks in on the two of them and Usagi snaps out of it. Irritated, Ryu rethinks his strategy.

After school, Ryu sneaks up on Usagi and uses a form of knockout gas breath to knock her out cold. When she awakens, she is in a dark location: the hideout Primordial Imperium. She is confronted by Tartarus, Erebus, Nyx, and Typhos (whom she finds out is also Ryu). Usagi has no choice but to turn into Sailor Moon and try to fight back. Since Ryu couldn't affect her like he did Mercury, all four of them together try to turn Sailor Moon to their side. Their reason for needing her was because they had a need for her Silver Crystal and were aware that only a member of the Moon Matriarchy could fully use the Silver Crystal's true powers. While not an easy task, Sailor Moon and her Silver Crystal put up a good amount of resistance to the powers of the Imperium, but eventually, she became exhausted. And with enough dark power fed into her mind and crystal, Sailor Moon changed into a new form: Princess Sailor Moon.

Oh, slag! I completely forgot something! Something interesting that occurs much, much earlier during the less intense story arcs.

At some point, through accidental circumstances that I haven't thought of yet (perhaps the whole "Silver Crystal keeps turning Usagi into Princess Serenity" scenario from before could be a possibility), Naru learns that Usagi is Sailor Moon. At first she's completely shocked to learn this, but later thinks that it's the coolest thing ever to learn that her best friend is Sailor Moon.

And during the time that she is aware of this, she grows to want to become a Sailor Senshi as well, as she feels left out from her friends who are all Senshi. And during one battle with a powerful MOTD, she actually gets her wish. For one time, Luna is able to grant Naru temporary Sailor Senshi powers and Naru dubs herself "Sailor Naru" (to avoid using any celestial object name that might already be used for an existing Sailor Senshi that they don't know of). At first Naru is thrilled by this, but once she actually gets the feel of a real fight, she's not so sure. Still, she does well against the monster, but in the end, she's happy being a normal girl. Being a Sailor Senshi was fun for a little while, but not so much a full-time job. But, she's glad she got the chance to experience it.

We now return to the darker final arc.

The other Sailor Senshi and Mamoru begin to have Usagi's ominous vision and learn that Usagi has gone missing. They soon have bigger problems when they start hearing television reports of many people around the world collapsing due to unknown circumstances (what was really happening was that their life energy was being sucked out of their hearts). Desperate times call for desperate measures - Luna and Artemis lead the Senshi and Mamoru into Game Center Crown at night, where they mess with the Sailor V game and a door in the floor beneath it opens up to reveal the Secret Base (from the manga). The cats say that they were working on this place in secret for a while now to be used as a last resort. They try to use the equipment there to both locate Usagi and figure out what's happening to the people of Earth. They then get a reading that the Primordial Imperium members have come to Earth themselves and the team goes to face them.

To their shock, it is revealed that the cause of all this suffering is none other than Sailor Moon, or more specifically Princess Sailor Moon, herself. She is using her Silver Crystal to do this. Tartarus has PSM hold off on the energy-draining for a bit and orders her to attack her former friends. This decision startles the other Imperium members as it would just delay their master's resurrection, but Tartarus dismisses this as he wishes to see the Sailor Senshi defeated by their own leader.

Not surprisingly, the Senshi can neither fight nor defeat PSM for obvious reasons. They try to get through to the real Usagi inside PSM (both Ami and Mamoru get the closest), but to no avail. She is cold, emotionless, and speaks very little words. In the end, they are defeated, but once again Tartarus forbids their deaths. Erebus is angered by this, believing that the Sailor Senshi will always be an obstacle to them as long as they live. Tartarus refutes this by saying that with the power of PSM on their side, the Sailor Senshi can no longer pose any threat. They retreat to gather more energy.

During the fight, however, Mamoru had placed a tracking device (Luna had made it at the Secret Base) on one of PSM's ribbons. Back at the base, the Senshi, cats, and Mamoru work to locate PSM and the Imperium. During this time, the vision of the future voice happens again, only this time ten glowing objects are also seen coming together to form a larger object in the vision. With the tracking device still in place, they are able to locate where PSM and the Imperium are: Sagittarius Zero Star.

At Sagitarius Zero Star, Tartarus reveals to PSM the Galaxy Cauldron (which should have been in the anime!) and says that it will be the instrument used to resurrect Chaos. He explains that it is the place where all stars and life start, thus it is the very tool that can and will revive their master. He has her place all the stolen heart energy into the Cauldron. This seems to help, but it isn't enough. It is decided that in order to fully revive their master, PSM will have to use the Silver Crystal to summon ALL of the life energy on Earth into the Cauldron. Although, once Chaos's lifeforce is manifested and reawakened in the Cauldron, Chaos will require a host vessel to interact on the physical plane and Tartarus decides that it will be PSM that shall be the vessel. This angers Typhos, who secretly wanted to be the vessel and have the power of Chaos for himself.

Erebus also finds Tartarus's plan flawed, as they are not to kill the Sailor Senshi and yet, in order to obtain all of the Earth's life energy, that would include that lives of the Sailor Senshi. By this point, Tartarus has had enough of his brother's objections and accuses him of questioning the will of their master. Erebus denies this in that he isn't questioning Chaos, but Tartarus himself ("And just who do you think is our master? Chaos, or you?!"). This results in a fight between the brothers, right next to the Cauldron. Both brothers try to knock the other into the Cauldron, but they are evenly matched. However, Tartarus has PSM shoot a bolt of energy at Erebus and while he's distracted by this, Tartarus stabs his brother, who falls off the ledge and into the Cauldron, where he dies and is absorbed into oblivion.

Nyx is outraged by Erebus's death (as she had had some feelings for him, and vice versa). She grieves for him briefly, but Tartarus approaches her and orders her to cease any mourning for Erebus, as he was merely a pawn in the grand scheme of things. He also states that such emotions do not suit her, and says that she should be more like PSM: cold, emotionless, and loyal without question. This angers Nyx, as she has been more loyal to him for far longer than PSM has. PSM, however, after seeing Tartarus kill his own brother and seeing Nyx mourn for Erebus, walks off and one small tear falls out of her eye, despite her facial expression remaining dim and expressionless. With Erebus dead, some of the dark power controlling PSM's mind starts to wear off (but not enough to free her completely).

Back on Earth, several beams of light shoot down from the sky and thousands of people are beamed upward towards the heavens. The Senshi and Mamoru have no idea what to do, but then the vision happens again, and not only do they hear the voice and see the ten glowing objects, but this time they see the faint silhouette of a girl with long hair holding a staff. When the vision ends, Setsuna's Garnet Rod starts to act up, and, to everyone's surprise, the Space-Time Door appears before them and opens. Everyone is blinded by an intense light that shines within it. When they regain their sight, the door is gone and everything looks the same as before. Mamoru wonders if it was Chibiusa coming back to visit, but Setsuna isn't sure. When the door appeared and opened on its own (which she said shouldn't be able to happen), she felt a strange presence coming from within the door. It was unknown to her, and yet somewhat familiar at the same time.

They have to ignore this anomaly for now as more and more people are beamed up into the sky. They head back into the base to try and locate where the people are being taken to. When Luna figures it out, they ask her if they're being taken to Sagittarius Zero Star. Luna says that they're not, and instead are being brought to a much closer location: the Earth's Moon. More specifically, Mare Serenitatis, the Sea of Serenity, the recently restored Moon Kingdom.

Luna figures out that so far, the people being beamed up are from the Azabu-Juban area, but that's only the beginning. They haven't figured out why they're being brought to the Moon Kingdom, but they have no other choice but to go after them to the Moon Kingdom, via Sailor Teleport. And they do so.

At the Galaxy Cauldron, Tartarus is working with PSM to concentrate his power into the sky above them. Typhos observes from a distance, still angered that PSM was chosen over him to be the vessel. He vows to himself to not let that happen.

Nyx also watches from from afar, remebering how Erebus had died earlier. She remarked that such outbreaks of violence between the brothers have happened in the past, but they were always equal in power and couldn't kill one another. This time, however, there had been an interference... from Princess Sailor Moon. This made Nyx remember all the times before when the Sailor Senshi had interfered with their plans. She then remembered Erebus's words of how the Sailor Senshi will always be an interference so long they are alive. She has now convinced herself that Erebus was right; the Sailor Senshi must die.

The Senshi and Endymion arrive on the Moon Kingdom and find numerous groups of their friends, family, neighbors, and other people passed out on the ground in great numbers. When they try to approach them, barriers appear, imprisoning the people, which cannot be broken by any of the Senshi's attacks. Then Nyx appears before them, hell-bent on bringing them to their deaths.

She stretches out her hands and begins to draw out energy directly from the fallen people. She becomes empowered and attacks the Sailor Senshi directly. The Senshi and Endymion fight back, but their attacks do little to her. She becomes mad with her power, obsessed with killing the Sailor Senshi.

Tartarus senses what Nyx is up to and starts to leave to the Moon Kingdom to deal with her, but Typhos stops him and requests that he go to deal with her instead. Typhos reminds Tartarus that their mission is close to being achieved and that he is needed here to complete it. Tartarus agrees (but warns Typhos to not kill Nyx because Tartarus still needs her for something) and Typhos goes to Moon Kingdom.

The Senshi are locked in heavy combat against the mad Nyx. They're having a severely difficult time in beating her. It comes to a point to where Sailor Saturn decides that she has no choice but to use her power of death on Nyx to stop her. Naturally, the others object to this due to the fact that this act would kill her too. Saturn knows this, but doesn't care as long as they can stop Nyx. Before she can use it, however, she is then convinced not to use it for another reason: Nyx is not the final enemy. There are others more powerful than she is. Using such a power just to kill her would be a waste if there were more difficult challenges that awaited them.

Instead, Mercury suggests to Mars, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn that they try using their Four Symbols attacks in a combined formation. Such a move would be risky, but they were willing to try it. Summoning most of their energy, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn unleash a massive attack that manifests as five energy animals (a tortoise, a phoenix, a tiger, an Asian dragon, and a European dragon) that merge into one single blast of energy that impacts with Nyx. She tries to fight it off, but the attack penetrates her resistence. Both Nyx and the five Senshi who performed this attack collapse from exhaustion.

Nyx gets back up to continue fighting the Sailor Senshi, but then Typhos appears. He tells Nyx that Tartarus sent him to get her. She asks him for his help in defeating the Sailor Senshi before they go. Typhos helps her to her feet and tells her that the Sailor Senshi will no longer be a problem for her... Then he stabs her. She collapses to the ground in pain, and as her body fades away, she utters the word "Why?" Typhos smirks, saying that she was expendable, just as Erebus was. The energy taken by Nyx from the unconcious people goes back into their bodies.

The Senshi are horrified to see Typhos kill his own teammate. They demand Typhos to tell them where Sailor Moon is and to bring her back. Typhos chuckles, saying that they'll soon see her again. Disgusted, Endymion draws his sword and prepares to face Typhos himself, but as he does this, the sky above suddenly opens up. The same thing happens at the Galaxy Cauldron, where Tartarus utters, "It has begun."
