No, thank you.
Is Naoko's fault for having a bad writing and not developt her characters and having filler would just not keep the "closer manga adaptation". I mean, the little filler/new things we have on this anime were kinda bad..

The Manga Series was a monthly Series.

This reduces a lot the capacities to develop characters excepted the main ones (Usagi and Mamoru in the first arc). At this time, the anime in the 90’s was supposed to offer what the manga couldn’t. Seeing now Crystal they could have developed the Series into a 26 episodes season. You can respect the Manga story but still adapt a bit an anime without copy /paste everything. That what they tried a bit in the first season with new ideas but knowing that the season was just 12 episodes I don’t know what they’re trying to do without having enough time/airtime to tell it... and they did it absolutely wrong. Why didn’t they instead develop the Manga side stories (Casablanca, Chibiusa diaries, Exam stories).... IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT AND WOULD HAVE MAKE SENSE...

Crystal suffered a lot because of the 1/1 format adaptation and the pacing. That was extremely unusual for lot a people because SM was well famous for its tone of filler episodes for each season...
Never less, it could have been as well much more welcome if in 2014 all 12 episodes / season would have been available all at the same time in streaming. Crystal works much more as a Series to BINGE.
