I would certainly adapt the chapters from the manga but possibly with some inovation here and there. Beef up the fight scenes similar to the fight with the cat daimon in the third season. I would also work in all of the side stories right in the seasons themselves. Most of them could fit in cannon with only a little tweaking. I think I would also try to flesh out the SenshiXShitenneou paring and really explore it. I hated the way Crystal killed the Generals off and then the girls got over with just a cry. Actually maybe they wouldn't all be in love with each other but they would be friends. Possibly they bonded and formed close relationships with each other in the past while trying to watch over the Prince and Princess. Either way, I would explore the tragedy of the Shitenneou dying and the friendship/relationship being lost again.

I would try my best to explore the pasts of the Senshi as well, especially the Outers. Maybe a filler episode around Uranus and Neptune awakening. I also like the idea of keeping the side characters alive even if they have only short scenes here and there.

So in a nutshell, keep the show faithful to the manga but not woodenly so. Look for places to faithfully expand and enjoy the story

Start first with a prequel. Anything goes so as long as the audience can connect the dots.
A prequel is a great idea!
Yes. =^_^=

A Silver Millenium chapter to start of things would be most awesome.

I don't think so. The DiC dub did something like that and it ruined the suspense of the episodes to follow.

... I would make 2 - 3 movies for each arc, 2-D transformation scenes, 60% are real time attacks. Each movie will be splited into segments, that will be "acts". For example: Sailor Moon Crystal - Dark Kingdom I - (Act 1, Act 2, Act 3...). Each act will have different length (variate from 15 to 24 minutes), but each movie will be 110 - 120 minute long. DVD watchers can jump from this act to next act, just like they did with manga.

Dark Kingdom I (act 1 ~ 5), Dark Kingdom II (act 6 ~ 10), Dark Kingdom III (act 11 ~ 14).
Black Moon I (act 15 ~ 18), Black Moon II (act 19 ~ 22), Black Moon III (act 23 ~ 26)
Death Busters I (act 27 ~ act 30), Death Busters II (act 31 ~ act 33), Death Busters III (act 34 ~ act 38)
Dead Moon I (act 39 ~ act 43), Dead Moon II (act 44 ~ act 49)
Stars I (act 50 ~ act 55), Stars II (act 56 ~ 60)

And then 3 movies of Sailor Cosmos and Where to Find Her. =^_^= =^_^= =^_^=

Well its not gonna be DIC who will be writing it. =^_^=

If given to a great writer and director any bad idea can turn good.

I'll go with A-1 Pictures for the animation studio.
A-1 is terrible though, they're one of the reasons why Nanoha ViVid & Ace Attorney turned out so bad.
I've never seen their work on those. I do love their work on Your Lie In April, Grimgar Fantasy and Ash and Ultimate Otaku Teacher. ^_^

The next one on my list is Kyoto Animation. =^_^=

The only reference I have is Free! and I don't even like sports anime.

I would love to see them reanimate :ami: and :mihiru:'s swimming match.

.............. Masahiro Ando, Ikuko Itou, and Keiko Iwata as character designers. Yasuko Kobayashi as script writer. Junichi Sato and Chiaki Kon as directors.
That's an elite team you have there Usagi-Fifth-Doctor.

I'm surprised you also like Mr. Ando's character designs cause I like it too.

^ Ando isn't as bad as the fandom makes out to be.

I just don't see why we need a prequel scene or series or whatever. Just jump into Usagi and the others and let the backstory unfold. That sort of story telling works.

Because we get to see more of the Silver Millenium. Its technology, culture, people and lifestyle. PGSM failed in this aspect as well.

Also you can have fun with the past lives of the other supporting characters.

I have an idea for Umino to be student at a university. He actually hooks up with Fisheye (who is a girl and a mermaid in this past life). The Sailors will have their own mini quest episodes along with the other characters.

Also I'd like to see the Silver Millenium have an army and a royal guard cause the attack on the moon was really pathetic for an advance civilization. :usagi: Abridged really did had a point about Queen Serenity partying every :toast: night

Because :minako: >>>>> :usagi:

Don't care for the Silver Millennium stuff myself and would rather see a Codename Sailor V adaptation over that.

much as I adore Usagi I'll agree, I don't need to see Serenity hooking up with Endymoron flash backs telling that story would be just as fine P-:
and I always wanted an anime version of Codename Sailor V :minako:

It really sounds sucky that the people of the Moon Kingdom had parties and balls like every other night while Uranus, Neptune and Pluto sat on their planets like expendable scarecrows waiting for the next attack outside of the Universe.

Queen Nehellania was right about the people of the white moon.

I would have kept the anime faithful to the manga, and not have cut any of the panels out. Nothing in the manga would have given the anime anything more than a PG-13 rating. I would have extended a few of the fights scenes where needed, and maybe added in some comedic based filler to balance out the more macabre aspects of the series. Ideally I would have liked to have used a 2 episode per chapter format.
