I've made an Mp3 rip of Ayaka's exclusive English song from her Moon Doll DVD for those who are interested. You may or may not be taken by surprise by her good pronunciation of English after a listen to it. IMO, it's a well done but simple song. It managed to give me a flashback to 80s Pop music and culture.

I'm not sure of the exact title of this song and wasn't able to accurately obtain that information through my sources so for now, I'm calling it "Cross my heart" as it sounds about right.

Enjoy! :)

Wow!

This song sounds so different from the songs she sang for PGSM. She sounds like early Madonna! I've never heard such flawless and natural English pronunciation from a Japanese singer. Her singing voice has really matured, too. I'm extremely impressed! ^_^

Thanks!

Is this really her singing? Either it's highly synthesized or it's someone else singing for her because the voice sounds sooooooo different from Ayaka. Also, the english is a little too good if you ask me. I'm being skeptical here, but I really hope it's her. If it is, I'm impressed

I'll admit, I had my doubts but I thought the voice sounded quite similiar. Ayaka-chan has a high pitched sweet voice that not just anyone could imitate. My Raw Provider who reads Japanese confirmed to me that on the back cover of the DVD to Moon Doll, Ayaka-chan is credited for the song.

That's Ayaka. I'd know that voice anywhere. ^_^

What probably catches some people off-guard is that she sounds grown up in this song. She calculatedly sounded kawaii for the PGSM image songs. Also, this song is English, and she sang it in a more Western fashion. If you only know her from PGSM then you'll see her as very simple and overly sweet... Sorry, that's just one of the personalities she's got down to a tee. ^_~

Great song. Sounds a little like Olivia Newton-John in the chorus. AYAKA MUST MAKE CD.

So I have the 4th photobook and the DVD with it, Moon Doll, but this song is not on there. Is there another DVD, a 4th Idol DVD or something... :?

Thanks,
-Endowhin

Cyndee Lauper. Definitely.
Great song, but it sticks in my head; I've been carrying it around all day at the office. How do I get rid of it?
