When I started reading the summary for Act 23, I started thinking when I got to the part about Minako living for another 6 mths. Obviously, they can't kill her off...that'd be dumb. So what are the writers planning to do? I thought perhaps since Usagi's powers deal w/ healing, somehow she'd be able to cure Minako of whatever she has, but as such Minako can no longer pursue being an idol since her health would probably wouldn't recover so easily and thus would need to stop overexerting herself as an idol. Therefore she probably would go back to school and give cause for her to finally wear her uniform. And seeing as how this is probably the sort of thing that would happen at the end of the season, I'd guess we'd see school-girl Minako in a season 2, which hopefully means that the rumors are true.

So what do you guys think? Also, sorry mods if this post goes somewhere else.

In other threads, it said a brain tumor!!!

I too think Sailor Moon, afer finally acquiring the Silver Crystal, will heal whatever the heck is up with Minako-chan. Either that or Minako will miraculously recover once the princess bit shifts to Usagi...

I just don't see them "killing off" the character that they have been tryng like CRAZY to sell to the viewers as being the "True Princess" for two months running! I think Sailor Moon will heal her up once she finds out about it! :P

Well, in previous Sailor Moon versions Senshi get killed off repeatedly, and then are reborn.
I'd like to think that is has something to do with powers awakening and her falsely assuming the role of the princess. She's under a lot of stress. She's not only a senshi but also a pop idol and a princess?!
Maybe Artemis has been slipping her something... :|

Yeah, I really like the Venus has to stop being an idol because of it thing. Makes sense. And yeah, I think the princess's power will heal her or something. I just hope they don't drag it out, like have to revisit it and have it some arc of it's own.

Or any sickness related to the head or brain. :) I may be wrong, but if you look at the display in front of the doctors after they had finished with the CT scan, you could see images of someone's head that had just been scanned, presumably Minako's.

I also agree that Usagi will eventually heal her. What I perceived would take place is similar to that of theedqueen's, with a slight difference. I see Minako's disease progressing up to the point where she resigns as an idol, and probably after a few episodes or so Usagi will heal her, and since she already gave up stardom, then she'll eventually go back to school.

Which makes me wonder... had Minako studied at all during her career? Because if she didn't, how would she catch up with all the other students? :?

I think Minako will die and will be reborn when the other senshi are reborn. Only, I don't think there will be much time between her death and the metallia battle.

Wait, she might have a brain tumor?! O_o Eh?

Well, my little guess of what happens: Right before they find out Moon is the princess, Venus collapses off some high building because of her head thingy. *Smash* Right on the ground. Head first. No more headache :P Then, Moon flips out, then her love and all that is good begins to awaken her. She brings back Venus, and she tells everyone what is going on. Everyone is awakened, byebye headaches ^_^

Maybe Moon will be the Princess, after Venus hands over the role to her, she will die from the tumor or something. And right after, they find another person called Aino Minako who is a normal school girl and she awakens? But that would be too time-consuming.

I always figured it would be like the manga.
Um, major manga spoilers here.
....
....
After Moon commits suicide AGAIN, the four senshi basically give up their lives (using their henshin items) in order to revive her. After she is revived, she defeats Metaria and ginzuishou's everything back to normal. While doing so, she revives the four senshi and everyone is smiley huggy yay fun.
I just figured that they'd do that, but with the added bonus of Minako being revived sans tumor.
After all, as someone said on the forums earlier, if she can heal mittens, she can heal anything!
