Question. What J-rock and J-pop would you suggest?
I can suggest a number of it - it depends on what genre types you're interested in. :)
Metal and/or rock, mostly. I do enjoy Kyary and such, but, I really want to expand to male singers.
X Japan, Luna Sea, L'Arc-en-Ciel...to name a few more mainstream ones. :)

Probably because they're all men and Rika likes the ladies :p
Probably, XD but I do know about a number of male J-pop singers/groups & have listened to their music over the years - I just dunno much about that one. lol

But yeah, I like female voices (whether old or young) more than male ones, tho I do have linked a few clips of male artists above. :)

Umm what is the purpose of all this? Excuse my stupidity but what are you trying to document? :)

It's formerly on my user page at the WikiMoon site, but after the site had suffered some frequent system failures back then, I duplicated it here in case the site were down for good (it's been fixed since then & that hasn't happened, tho), & now it's been moved & updated here. :)
Oh okay...so it's like a jpop diary?

It's just meant to be a collection of J-pops I listen to. :)

Just the songs or do you include rumors and gossip?

Can you recommend any Jpop artists or songs that are kind of popish? I've listened to Namie Amuro's Queen of Hip Hop album and loved it. Any suggestions?
Koda Kumi is also good. :)

I loved ZARD, I still think the rendition of Dan Dan Hirateku is one of the best songs ever, Don't You See is amazing too......I remember looking her up years later after watching DBGT and I was so sad when I found out she died.
