From now on I'm going to post my Sailor Moon fanart here instead of in my general art thread.

For my recent stuff, here's my Sailor Lilith:

And Sailor Charon from ASMO:

And I did some quick transformation images of the ASMO characters who didn't already have one. These didn't take very long to make, but I tried to make them look as close to the other ASMO transformation images as possible.

Sailor Charon

Sailor Eros

Sailor Chibiearth

lol it kinda does look like that! I think her creator just wanted to add an 'X' to the usual heart in Sailor Moon symbols, for Planet X. There's another character by the same person called Sailor Quirinus, and her symbol is a heart with an arrow through it to look like the letter 'Q'. Interestingly, Quirinus was meant to be the same as Planet X, so basically there are 2 senshi for the same planet.

So, that same planet has two planetary symbols too? :oh:

Materials Collection -style sketch of Sailor Methuselah. This is a character I came up with ages ago, but the design is new. Methuselah is the unofficial name for the extrasolar planet PSR B1620-26 b. It orbits a pulsar star and a white dwarf star, and is around 12.7 billion years old. (the oldest planet known to date, and almost as old as the universe itself).

In my fancanon, Methuselah has a small population that is extremely long-lived (with the average lifespan in the millions of years). However, when someone on Methuselah dies, they are reincarnated (not always right away) and retain the memories of their past lives. These memories manifest themselves sometime around puberty, and when someone unlocks the memories of their past lives they have a coming of age ceremony where they invite people who were important to them in their past lives.

Sailor Methuselah is somewhat of an exception where if she dies, she is reincarnated almost immediately, and as the exact same person each time (no change in appearance or personality). If she always seems tired - it's because she is. Her soul has no time to rest between incarnations, and she doesn't have the freedom of not knowing who she is for a time after being reborn (since she's the same person each time, there's always someone to tell her who she is).

Her element is electromagnetism, which would make sense considering pulsar stars (like the one Methuselah orbits) are highly magnetized.

Sailor Dimidium, another very old concept of mine with a new design. Dimidium is the official name for extrasolar planet 51 Pegasi b, the first planet discovered beyond our solar system. It used to be unofficially referred to as Bellerophon, so that's what this character's name used to be (I actually like that name better...) Dimidium is a gas giant orbiting extremely close to its parent star. Because of the heat, I made Sailor Dimidium's element magma. Her skirt and sleeve patterns are based on the cloud bands of a gas giant.
