Btw, is that pink Star Power stick supposed to be Chibiusa's??

Why would she get one and not Usagi?

Or rather, why would they make a merchandise set based around five Sailor Senshi with four of which being Ami, Rei, Makoto, and Minako, and with the fifth being Chibiusa instead of Usagi?

Sure we do. Minako used the Disguise Pen in S, which was long after R and it was the same as before.

It mightn't be creative & innovative enough, but this time those items aren't made as toys, but as real cosmetics products for adult use, so there's still a significant difference.

I think the nail polish thing is cute. I like the pink one too - I was thinking that, since Saturn technically has a transformation that's similar to the Inner Senshi's second transformation, that you could make the pink wand be hers (with a little modification..like getting rid of the moon symbol).

I don't think the looks of these products are related to the new anime at all, hence you can't get any clues about the items appearing in the latter from the former.

I understand what you're saying but don't know why they would make them so dramatically different from the original one.

P.S. Never ever heard of another anime being re-made besides Cutey Honey/DBZ. What are other ones that have been off for years and that have gotten a reboot recently? Just so I can see the animation/design differences from their original counterpart, to get an idea of upgrades.
