This is like the anime announcement for me all over again! I wonder how the costumes will look this time.
(I instantly thought: "If this becomes successful enough to include the Outers again, I would love to take on tackling Myu Saturn 2.0 if the costume designs are different enough!") At this point my patience for the new anime has become endless, so much amazing stuff is coming that we couldn't have dreamed of just a few years ago.
I hope too for there to finally be an end to the monopolizing (actually a more fitting term would be "hostile takeover") of Myu fansubbing from a certain fansubbing group infamous for drama that was recently taken down a few pegs. Years back when I first made my Myu Saturn cosplay I was so enthusiastic about the musicals, but that was squashed when the venom reared its ugly head and I haven't been able to enjoy them since. (Mostly because I simply don't know where to go to be able to see them.) We as a fandom should really stand behind the other groups doing Myu fansubbing and hold zero tolerance for the awful, awful behavior of You Know Who.
I apologize if that went a little heavy for this topic, I really actually mean it in a positive and optimistic way. I love Sailormoon so deeply, and I'm so ecstatic to see new beginnings for it, both canonically and in the fandom.

I agree, NEVER have heard of that either. That would have been mentioned years ago. I think Naru was just supposed to Usagi's best friend and that's it from what I've always gathered.
Have never been into musicals or watching the SeraMyus (don't stone me to death, just my opinion!), however this could mean BIGGER news for the upcoming anime soon!
Really excited to hear of all of the side projects, it'll just bring more attention to Sailor Moon for fans and which equals to more which could equal being more anime success also.
