Considering all the non-manga plots that have appeared in PGSM, I wouldn't rule out an Ail and Ann arc in PGSM. Actually, I'm hoping for it, since that was my favorite part of the R series.

People who are expecting the anime/manga's stories to be preserved as holy writ in PGSM.. prepare to be disappointed. They seem quite intent on taking the franchise in new directions and I say God bless 'em.

Does TVTome list their sources? The information is simply submitted by visitors (or the person in charge of that section). It's like any other fan site. While it could be very likely that a "second" season is being prepared, I wouldn't take what TVTome says to be final. I would much rather wait for an official source to announce this.
That's why I said take this with a grain of salt ^_^ . I'm aware of TVTome's rep, it's alot like Save Our Sailors.

Wai wai! I know we're supposed to take this w/ a grain of salt b/ I hope it's true! more than 50 episodes would be so great, even though that would mean more fillers, b/ it's not as if the fillers they have are really terrible.

Not buying it. And I certainly hope they keep Pluto's role to something as short as possible.
How can you say that about Pluto? She's one of the best characters out there and certainly deserves her share of screen time.

How can you not love Pluto the olived skinned goddess? She should be in the show, i'd rather see her than the Uranus and Neptune.

I wonder how she even got a tan? Is there a tanning bed down in the underworld? I can see her taking the weekends off and going to one while Diana guards the door. That makes me think why would they need Pluto to guard the door if they could just have a cat do it. Didn't they do that or something?

Ah, we can have sexy Saturn before Uranus and Neptune, too. Maybe she gets tanned at a tanning salon in Crystal Tokyo or some other realm.

Everybody says that can't be that they do more fillers episodes, but we have to remember what kind of proyects like to do Toei and Bandai: Dragon Ball, Z and GT, Digimon (all the seasons) and even BSSM and more. And the most of they like to add are fillers episodes. Considering that, I think we've got Dark Kingdom arc for a while.

What's wrong w/ Uranus and Neptune?
Boring cliches? Oops, I violated another Sailor Moon taboo, didn't I? "Everyone has to pretend that characters exactally like Ami, Minako, Haruka and Michiru haven't appeared in a billion other animes already."

Considering how they've fixed Ami and Minako's character, I'd be curious what they'd do with the outers.. I'd still rather see a new story, though. S was only cool because of Eudial and Mimet, in my opinion.

A loving gay couple is no more cliche than a loving het couple and they're all over the place!

Uranus and Neptune have the potential to be the most intrguing characters on the show, should the show make it to them. However, all of the outers are incredibly cool.

A story can be great all over the place but unless the characters are well done and relatable, the show/story won't do well. I think Sailor Moon's success speaks for itself.

They're almost as pointless as Saturn?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. PGSM is a chance to dump all of the Outers wholesale. All it will take is the right kind of will from the writers. Let's stick to the core Senshi and see where that takes us. There are a thousand new stories to tell. Why recycle all the old ones?

Amen. AMEN!

There was a limit on what could be done with the characters of the "inners" in the anime, because those characters were archtypes. Not so in PGSM. These girls have complex personalities that could easily be expanded into an entire series without throwing in a bunch of "filler senshi" like the anime had to.

All the useless characters added to the anime diminished the story, in my opinion. I will happily give up Eudial and Mimet in order to lose Haruka and Michiru, as well. Not because they are homosexual - because they are BORING.

I disagree whole heartedly. The outers were a great contrast in comparison to the inner senshi. Looking at the anime, they added a whole lot and PGSM would take an interesting turn if the outer senshi were involved. They only appear useless b/c the anime totally gyped them and disregarded them a whole lot in SuperS and Stars. Even though the emphasis was more on the inner senshi in manga as well, you can tell Takeuchi-san considered the outer senshi to be very important as well. That side I believe the inner senshi are an integral part of the Sailormoon world and thus should be seen in PGSM.

I agree with theedqueen. I would really love it if the Outers made an appearance. They got the shaft when it came to the anime, and I liked them a lot better in the manga. And the Outers have the potential to be just as complex as the Inners in PGSM. In the anime, ALL the Senshi except for Sailor Moon and Tuxy got the shaft to me when it came to being archetypes. I mean, Setsuna was the mysterious one and we saw her always calm and in control, but we never knew just what motivated her to do anything other that "timeline" stuff. Haruka = stoic and sometimes downright rude in the anime. Michiru was always the one in control and everything, perfect in every way. And Saturn, we didn't even see much of to make ANY kind of character assumption it seemed. And of the inner archetypes, there was Ami the bookworm, Mako the fighter, Rei the hothead, and Minako the overdone goofy blonde to beat all blondes.

In PGSM, the inners have gotten so much character development that its nearly sending me into cardiac arrest, I'm so happy. But the potention for the Outers to be something just as grand is there and waiting. They could add so much to the already expanding show and a whole new world of options open up with their addition, things that can't be there if its only the Inners.

I think that PGSM is a great way to make things up to the outers. They were treated terribly anime wise, but the way PGSM is going, I wouldn't be surprised if they made up totally new villians and story arcs. (They do seem to be taking things in a whole new direction, especially lately, with Dark Mercury and all).
