Was thinking of doing this when the character song album got it's preview trailer posted but after seeing they posted one for the two singles, I'm doing this now so everything music-wise goes here instead of the movie thread.

EDIT: Apparently these ZZ versions are the result of one of the members leaving the group a few years back leaving them with 4 members (when Crystal started there were 5) so these songs and others that were done with all 5, were re-recorded.

The new music sounds very underwhelming. Only about 1-2 that sounds fresh and nice. Looking forward to the movies though!

I downloaded the Chainon single that came out today. Watashitachi sounds a lot better than the original version IMO.
Rashiku Ikimasho was turned into a more "chill" song, and there are no high notes this time. It's relaxing, but nowhere as good as the original by MEU. I wonder what she's up to today?
About CHAINON, the instrumentals are GORGEOUS! Too bad they had to hire profitable idols for publicity, even though they are awful at singing.

Probably not. Toei's one of the many anime companies that never make their soundtracks officially available to westerns.
Though Momoclo somehow managed to upload Moon Pride in their official streaming pages.

EDIT: CHAINON IS ON SPOTIFY!!!!!!!!!!

You can't buy anything on Spotify. You have to get a paid account and download the song through the app, in case you want to hear it offline

All three songs released today are on Spotify, both in off vocal and vocal versions.
It's so unreal. Further proof of the Netflix deal. I can't believe I'm listening to a Sailor Moon song by ANZA officially in Brazil!!!

Ah, I don’t want to do that. I don’t want to fill my tablet with music apps.

I don’t know why they are denying us the songs.

When Crystal came out, “Moon Pride” and the ending theme were on iTunes, as was the tribute album.

Some decisions make no sense.

You have a product and don’t want to sell it? :O

You can also hear it from a free account (I’m doing it right now) on Spotify. But it’s then mixed with other song playing. Annoying... TOEI never hear about making available internationally music albums... I guess you will have to download on “special” platforms like usual.... :eek:

actually even the first BGM album of Crystal is still available on Apple Music in Austria and of course the stuff (Moon pride etc...) from Momoiro (but apparently they were much more famous then than now !). But I think it came maybe a week or so after Japan...

EDIT : CHAINON Single is now available on ITunes Music in Austria!!!!!!!

hahaha I was just coming here to write down that! I love this new version !! I really like CHAINON too, more Japanese classic pop music, but better for me than Moon Pride (too loud!) and 100x better than New Moon (Momoiro Version included).

I just realized. ANZA for the new version of Rashiku (it’s not bad but I prefer the original version) is it ANZA from the musicals stage 1 ?!?!!!

Actually, it was only the tribute album that was removed from iTunes/Apple Music U.S.

Good thing I purchased the 2 songs that I liked.

The Crystal album, “Moon Pride,” and “Gekkou” are still there.

My contribution to the Eternal movies will be purchasing Tsukiiro Chainon.

I got a Netflix subscription many years ago, primarily to watch “American Horror Story” and “Bates Motel.”
