The United States, but I'm a combo of Scottish, Welsh, English, Irish, and French descent.

I've seen some. I LOVE some voices, HATE others (this goes for the English version too), but the story and writing is MUCH better!

- Which Sailor Senshi or other character you are most like?

Probably Venus. I'm a little clumsy, lazy, occasionally energetic, though I get much better grades than her! I also relate to Usagi with her complaints of school, waking up, overwhelming stress, etc.

- If you are a guy, why do you like Sailor Moon?

There's something about an action-packed animated series about a bunch of ass-kicking girls that I just love. I also relate more to female protagonists. I don't know why. The series also has a LOT of depth. The characters are much more well-rounded and interesting than a show like, say, Ronin Warriors. We also care about the Guardians are their struggle with life and battling the forces of evil. In short, I love Sailor Moon for the same reason I love shows like Powerpuff Girls, Totally Spies, and Tokyo Mew Mew.

- Manga or Anime?

Anime. I love comics, but overall, I prefer to watch a series if possible. I do love reading the manga though!

- Favorite Sailor Senshi and why?

I like Sailor Mars and Sailor Venus. Sailor Mars is red hot. She's tough, she doesn't put of with BS, she can really stand on her own independently. She's also spunky. I like Venus because of her cute chipper personality. She's very likable, and she also learns to be independent in the Sailor V manga series. She's also hilarious!

- And for the last one, make up the craziest/silliest/coolest name of a Senshi you can come up with

Sailor Sedna. Hey, we have a Sailor Pluto! Sailor Quaoar is another possibility!

I love the way you answered the first question! You couldn't have said it better. I can't stand the most Serena's Japanese voice and me personally it just doesn't fit her. It sounds to me like a 10 yr old in a 14 yr olds body but people of course said opposite about Terri Hawkes and it's cool it's there opinion. For me Terri fits her quite well and you know what she could in a sense sound like a valley girl as everyone says she does but I hear really little if I do catch it for in reality she's not Japanese. She's really is a Moonie. She was born on the Moon!! It just so happened after the poor moon go destroyed that they landed on earth in Japan and btw you and me none of them look japanese nor does in truth any Anime character for it's said that the Japanese picked up on the art style of Disney so most disney character are more so American. Anywho...Yeah I like the Manga but I also like it visually done for me You know Venus was the original Serena so they are quite alike all though I think Serena is much more silly than Venus will ever be and that's why Venus was much of a better choice of being the supporting character for Serena with her personality could never take on that role. Your soo on the money for why both genders or for anyone to enjoy this outstanding show. It's depth, emotional but at the same time exciting, active and much twist happen through out the story line. Haha I think your talking from your crush perspective on the girls but yes Mars is tough and doesn't give up quickly (like Serena and Me with some situations) and I love her for being such an independent woman. Yes Venus has a cute spark to her and her chippy personality is not overdone or annoying and she is as you said funny (in a sarcastic way which I like) Well I'm gonna stop nipping your ear off. I'm from the US. More specifically almost 4/5 Irish and 1/5 German.

2) Have you seen the original Japanese version? Did you like it?

Yes, I have. I absolutely prefer it to the dub, but I appreciate the dub since it introduced me to Sailor Moon. It made me happy during a turbulent time in my life (my father passed away the year it came out in the US), but in terms of quality, the original Japanese is superior.

3) Which Sailor Senshi or other character are you most like?

Hands down, it's Makoto/Sailor Jupiter. It's scary how much alike me and her are: we both lost a parent, we're both Sagittarians, we love cooking, we love the color green, we wear our hair in a similar style (from age 2 to 16, I wore my hair in a ponytail with ball tie, like what Mako wears), we're boy crazy, we're both tall, and our personalities have similar traits (namely bravery, lack of tact, slightly awkward, honesty and generosity). She spoke to me unlike any other fictional character.

4) If you are a guy, do you like Sailor Moon?

I own a vagina and I don't identify as a guy, so this doesn't apply.

5) Manga or Anime?

In terms of keeping my attention, I like the anime better. I'm a more visual person than a reader, so I like it when the story is played out in front of me. But in terms of storyline quality, the manga, so far, has been better. I just so happen to be reading the manga for the first time with Kodansha releasing it. I am a little more forgiving than a lot of people for the errors because I never had the chance to get the Mixx manga when I was younger. I would rather take it as is, but that's not to say there can't be any improvements.

6) Favorite Sailor Senshi and why?

Sailor Jupiter because she's my clone. xD However, I do have a soft spot for Sailor Mars. I always laugh at her antics and I love her passion and devotion to Sailor Moon. She's also a no BS type of girl and I strive to be like that. I could have also liked Sailor Pluto if there was more character development for her. She had so much unrealized potential, but she was thrown to the wayside.

7) And for the last one, make up the craziest/silliest/coolest name of a Senshi you can come up with

Sailor Minerva. I've been secretly hoping that sooner or later a sailor senshi would be created with that title. But it'll never happen in the manga or anime.

I like that you at least you understand that the dub is what made most of Moonies know who Sailor Moon was and always will be (ok now I'm getting to mushy) Oh yeah the sub with dialogue and it being full and not cut is not doubt better quality but I'm just not so crazy with the voices sadly. For question 3 and 6 I answered almost the same way but just with Serena instead of Lita so I'm glad I'm not alone Yeah all though the Manga did grab my attention I do as well find the Anime to grab me more so I'm on the same level. Oh no I don't feel at all that way about Jupiter. She made that group become stronger and whole for she knew when the conflict's appeared how to fix them and move on and be a team. She soo important and a sweetheart in my eyes and she's badass! I really like your Sailor name for it's Greek connection about Gods and I like that aspect of the Greek culture.

Both have their positives and negatives. The manga has better storytelling, but the anime has all the character development.

Sailor Pluto, hands down. The first time I saw her during R, I thought she was amazing and gorgeous. It only got better from there.

Sailor Moon was there for me in a very difficult time in my life, and continues to be there for me. It never fails to make me laugh or otherwise enthrall me. I love the cast and their interactions, I love the comedy, I love the comradeary.. I don't know, it's just my obsession.

Seen maybe half the manga, but all of the anime many times over. Preordered the manga and eagerly await every issue's arrival. Love them both. Love PGSM too.

Sailor Sunset I like the sound of that! I only saw a few of the episodes in spanish, the rest in english (and one in Japanese). Serena's voice is still pretty high in the spanish dub btw

Yeah, back when USA still showed cartoons. I actually got into SM through the manga, though. Back in high school, a friend of mine had the Mixxzine books that had SM bundled with 3 or 4 other manga series, and she let me read them. She'd told me about the anime back when I first started reading, but at that point, it was airing at like 7:30am on Sundays and I don't get up that early, so it was months before I actually caught it.

Personal Usagi (Ooh I can never get use to that ) is that a quiz game? Sounds like fun! Hmm well maybe your just both!

I have a friend(not the one who got me into SM) who's basically my own real-life Usagi except she looks more like Michiru.

I've seen most of the S season and some of the Stars season in Japanese. I originally saw those it on Youtube but a very good friend of mine downloaded a torrent for me which had all 200 episodes in Japanese. Now I can re-watch the Japanese episodes whenever I have time.

•Which Sailor Senshi or other character you are most like?

I've taken several quizzes recently for this question, some of them understandably were more geared towards females. I got Saturn most of the time but occasionally got Mercury and Pluto

I originally saw my little sister watching either the original season or the Doom Tree arc and I was curious enough to start watching it. It was just a show I could become interested in and once S rolled along I got hooked.

I've only really seen the anime. I just got my very first manga volume (The new reprint) so I have some major reading to do.

•Favorite Sailor Senshi and why?

I have many reasons as to why Saturn/Hotaru is my favourite. I originally saw her as an outcast and tragic-struck which in some ways resonates with myself back when I first saw the anime. She was trying to deal with being possessed by Mistress Nine and having a friendship with Chibiusa under the circumstances really made me feel for her character. We both like historical studies and we aren't that athletically talented (although after her rebirth, one could assume that the physical limitations weren't an issue for her). I also believe that after Stars she is a much more sustainable and capable person then in S which also matches my life struggles.

I like Sailor Moon because of the story and more importantly the characters. They are all so wonderful in their own right and the tokusatsu nature of the show makes it easy to forget that it's mostly aimed at girls. Also, Sailor Moon was my first introduction to Japanese media, along side with Godzilla too.

Anime by far. Haven't started reading the manga yet.

I'm a mixture between Usagi and Makoto. I love eating sweets and sleeping all day like Usagi, but I'm pretty tough like Makoto too. I can also be hot tempered like Rei, and I'm also very spiritual

Manga because it's more fast paced, but I also like the anime because it really develops the plotline, and you get to know the senshi better not just Sailor Moon.

Sailor Jupiter because she's tough, kind hearted, down to earth, and a little misunderstood. She's also a good cook! These are my top five though.

Have you seen the original Japanese version? Did you like it?

Yes, I have watched the seasons, movies ans specials. One definite good point was no edits/cuts. How could you go wrong with no edits? There are some scenes and characters I liked in the original, but there are also some I don't. Same with the voices. Some will annoy me, but there are voices I could listen to all day and night if possible (Maria Kawamura's Eugeal and the late Kaneto Shiozawa's Prince Diamond are two great examples). After finishing the original, I thought it was great. As with the English dub, I think it does a brilliant job despite some of the silly edits/changes and slang. The voice actors/actresses from DiC and Cloverway have all done a great job even though some of them aren't as good as they could have been. I'm surprised that there are some voices I prefer to the original (Stephanie Beard's Rini and Kirsten Bishop's Zoycite. This IS my opinion by the way). But overall, I love both the Original and the Dub for different (and sometimes the same) reasons.

Which Sailor Senshi or other character you are most like?

Oh, this a tough one. I share the same interest in cooking as Lita. I love technology and computers like Eugeal. And I also like to think Im as laidback/relaxed as Artemis a.k.a. Silly comedy cat.

I'm a guy, so I'll be happy to answer. There are many reasons as to why I love Sailor Moon. First of all, we have a kickass team of female Sailor Soldiers who will be ready to beat some bad guy butt, even if the guys put them into wild and compromsing positions. Sailor Moon also has depth when it comes to things like Romance, Sacrifice and Friendship. Another reason is that SM has the sexiest villainesses (this applies to the Phantom Sisters, Witches 5 and Kaori). The last reason is that the MOTDS are no doubt interesting. Some are cute, some are tough, some are bizarre and there are some who are just flat out hilarious.

Manga or Anime??

Geez, I think both have their positves and negatives. The anime added more story and depth to several of the villains (Dark Kingdom, Black Moon Clan and the Death Busters). But at the same time, the anime version of the Stars Season made the least sense. In the manga, it was more clear and understanding. Not to mention Naoko Takeuchi does some beautiful drawings/artwork. I'll probably side a little over to the anime only because it had more development with the villains.

Favorite Sailor Senshi and why?

I like Rini/Mini-Moon and Hotaru/Saturn the most. I think they are so cute yet they are also powerful scouts. Not to mention they are both best friends. They are so cute when they are together.

That is amazing that you are all the way from England! I love they way you answered question 2. Yes, Yes, YES!!! I am soo glad that you see both positive and negatives with the Sub and Dub. For one of course, I loved the the original ending of it being uncut/unedited. I hate that Dic with the last episode cuts that whole Darien kicking Serean's ass part. It what made the scene DUH! Ok now voices. I without a Doubt HATE Serena's Japanese voice with a passion and you know what people don't like Terri's voice with a passion but I love it with all my heart :love: I just can't stand that pitch and honestly it doesn't fit her. She sounds 10 not 14 to me and I know they made most of the girls voice sound cute but not in my opinion. I'm sure most of the guy's like Darien I've heard his and it's pretty good and Diamonds I'm sure is gold (But I like his Dub voice too). Hey everyone has their own opinion about everything and that's what makes us at different and it's not a bad thing. In all honesty I have never completed any seasons of the sub so I have only watched the last two episodes of season one in sub without sound (it was cool actually I had the Dic cast in my head and Dic music but with better dialogue!) Do you like Terri Hawkes? Overall I respect the Sub Completey!!! but love the Dub. Yeah I've heard of Starz being the most confusing for they're was too much going on at once. Everyone so far has also been saying that the characters especially the villain has soo much more depth in the Anime then in the Mangas. The Anime for me for it's what introduced me to Sailor Moon. I'm starting to read the Mangas and I really like it. Her Art is Magnificent!! I love it! But she also draws for the show and it's quite beautiful too! I love Artemis!! He's funny. Lita is like me too for I also like to cook. You mean Melvin? I love him! He's too much The Scouts are really kick ass girls! even though Serena sometimes is a Crybaby The Storyline is quite depth with romance, friendship and just plain old relationships. Truthfully yes they really do have sexy villains (Beryl, Diamond, etc.) Saturn and Mini Moon are quite cute together. Well I'm gonna shut up now. Haha like your Sailor Name. Yeah most people watched the dub when they were young. I actually watched it when I was 18 and just loved the dub form the start. It def. has faults but what show doesn't? Even sometimes the Sub version I'm sure has it's faults. I love Terri Hawkes and don't care for Serena's Japanese voice for I feel it doesn't fit ( my opinion). I'm the most like Serena The Plots are amazing. The characters have wonderful stories and the friendship point of the show is quite beautiful. I really like the story line in the Manga and Anime. Sailor Moon was there for me in a very difficult time in my life, and continues to be there for me. It never fails to make me laugh or otherwise enthrall me. I love the cast and their interactions, I love the comedy, I love the comradeary.. I don't know, it's just my obsession.

Seen maybe half the manga, but all of the anime many times over. Preordered the manga and eagerly await every issue's arrival. Love them both. Love PGSM too.

Oh my goodness your really don't like the English Dub! I don't hate the sub it's more that I don't care for it for it's voice acting and I know people feel this way with the dub but not me. I have much respect for the sub for it's the original Sailor Moon before it was even dubbed. But that's funny the way you compared it to Amy getting a "B". I wouldn't go that far haha. I know how that feels chasing after love that won't work but now I'm gonna be Serena and find my Darien! I do love Mina for she's a sweetie and sarcastically funny! I love Sailor Moon too! Aww that's nice that it was something you looked for in bad times. Its like good friends (the Scouts) that you can depend on. Serena in my heart is my best friend. (Sorry emotional Moment) But I understand the connect you feel to Sailor Moon and most of us here do. Manga and Anime are good. I heart the Anime for it's what introduced me to Sailor Moon. I saw the first episode in Japanese (subbed) and I agree that Serena's voice is too high pitched, so I stick to the dub

I'm a guy and adore Sailor Moon! I used to wake up really early on Saturday mornings and Sailor Moon was always on before all the other cartoons. I would watch it to stay awake, but eventually learned to love it. (And still do)

The manga's on my reading list. In other words, I haven't read it yet, so I guess it's anime by default

That's easy!!! Sailor Moon! She's always been my favorite. I like how she can be so clumsy and careless one moment and so passionate the next. If she were real, I would love to get to know her!

Oh wow Mexico!! My Brother-in-law who's Columbian and is an Anime fan watched much of DBZ and other shows in Spanish so he's with you on that level. Cool! It's not just me then with Serena's voice being too high pitched!! So now when you say you stick to the dub do you mean the english dub or Spanish? It's nice if your talking about the spanish for it's different and that's always a great point in my book. Aww that's soo cute I use to wake up for Pokemon (I didn't know it was Anime at the time) so I was actaully too young to clearly remember Sailor Moon but I do remember is me saying "I'm never watching Anime or this show! They're months are not right and it's not a real cartoon!" Boy was I WRONG!! and for criticizing Anime for I was watching it without knowing I love the Anime but read the Manga's too!! Yeah!! Did you ever see the English Dub? It has it's downs but also it's ups!

Yeah, back when USA still showed cartoons. I actually got into SM through the manga, though. Back in high school, a friend of mine had the Mixxzine books that had SM bundled with 3 or 4 other manga series, and she let me read them. She'd told me about the anime back when I first started reading, but at that point, it was airing at like 7:30am on Sundays and I don't get up that early, so it was months before I actually caught it.

Personal Usagi (Ooh I can never get use to that ) is that a quiz game? Sounds like fun! Hmm well maybe your just both!

I have a friend(not the one who got me into SM) who's basically my own real-life Usagi except she looks more like Michiru.

You aint kidding when you say the US use too show cartoons! They show crap now. I miss the old Nick like: Hey Arnold, Rugrats, Doug, Ahh real Monster, As told by Ginger, Animaniacs!! ( I love them! Especially Yakko )etc. The only cartoon I like from today is Kick Buttowski. It's really funny and cute! The Manga got much people into Sailor Moon. Haha I'm not an early bird neither. I'm the real life Serena just like your friend. I sleep, eat, clumsy, always late, sensitive, emotional, loud etc. In tiny way I look like her. With my wig I look more like her

I want a redub too!!! I'm the most like Serena too!!! A lot of people like the Anime more for it's character background. I love Zoisite! He's (well I'm not gonna lie but because of the dub they made her a girl and it should of in my opinion stayed that way.) beautiful! But I have nothing against the gay community for I like a lot better Uranus and Neptune's relationship and Fisheye is wonderfully fashioned!!! Haha I liked that you named a Sailor after your town! Mine would be Sailor Brooklyn! haha

Canada, more specifically the province of Ontario.

•Have you seen the original Japanese version? Did you like it?

I've seen most of the S season and some of the Stars season in Japanese. I originally saw those it on Youtube but a very good friend of mine downloaded a torrent for me which had all 200 episodes in Japanese. Now I can re-watch the Japanese episodes whenever I have time.

•Which Sailor Senshi or other character you are most like?

I've taken several quizzes recently for this question, some of them understandably were more geared towards females. I got Saturn most of the time but occasionally got Mercury and Pluto

I originally saw my little sister watching either the original season or the Doom Tree arc and I was curious enough to start watching it. It was just a show I could become interested in and once S rolled along I got hooked.

I've only really seen the anime. I just got my very first manga volume (The new reprint) so I have some major reading to do.

•Favorite Sailor Senshi and why?

I have many reasons as to why Saturn/Hotaru is my favourite. I originally saw her as an outcast and tragic-struck which in some ways resonates with myself back when I first saw the anime. She was trying to deal with being possessed by Mistress Nine and having a friendship with Chibiusa under the circumstances really made me feel for her character. We both like historical studies and we aren't that athletically talented (although after her rebirth, one could assume that the physical limitations weren't an issue for her). I also believe that after Stars she is a much more sustainable and capable person then in S which also matches my life struggles.

Oh your from the Country where Terri Hawkes was from! That's great that you have access to the show anytime you wish. Hmm that's interesting. Your probably then just have characteristics from all of them Aww that's cute that you bonded with your sister with Sailor Moon! Didn't we all get hooked! I love the Anime but you'll enjoy the Manga! I believe all of us at one point in our lives feel like outcast and this is why a lot people can connect with her soo well. Rini and her do have a very cute friendship. I'm not athletic neither but neither is Serena haha. All of them during Stars becomes more mature and knowledgeable.

Ironic, since the English dub was recorded in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. All the voice actors were Canadian.
