Galaxia's Star Seed was destroyed.
You mean when it has turned into a sword, and the sword got broken? That probably woulnd't happen if Sailor Moon attacked Galaxia with it. And it hasn't been broken completely anyway.

Only Sailor Galaxia could bring others back to life, not Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon does not have that power.
I don't recall Galaxia being at D-Point in the end of the first season.

The broken sword = Chibi Chibi's death = More light of hope. It's only a fight : Moon vs Galaxia.

The Star Seed is the soul of a soldier. Once extracted, the soldier dies.

In season 1, the Star Seed is not extracted. That's the difference. The body is intact, the soul of the soldier is intact. That's why Sailor Moon was able to bring others back to life in Season 1.

I don't understant what are you talking about, really. Why Chibi-Chibi's death should have produced more light of hope?

Why do you think she woudn't be able to do the same with Star Seeds extracted? I don't get your point, why do you think that Galaxia's body was required to bring someone to life? That ability of hers was never mentioned. BTW, saved Galaxia later said that it was SM's "shining that illuminated the galaxy".

I found the ending to Stars to be far less ridiculous than the ending to the Super S arc. At least the anime made it clear that Galaxia originally was not evil and was merely being controlled. ESM's decision to save her, rather than to destroy her, was least justified. I actually found it to be slightly better than the manga's version, where Galaxia gets bodied by Chaos and kicks the bucket shortly there afterwards.

It was a great ending.

It makes up for the 97 percent of its lack luster filler episodes.
