All these little bits adding up is starting to make me wonder if those old 50s comics might have ever seen release (either officially or via import comic stores) in Japan. :wow:
I was just looking on some Japanese auction sites and actually found a copy of Web of Mystery that was for sale (along with a few other issues of similar comics), which means these comics did make their way to Japan. The plot thickens...

Can't help but feel the design team gets ideas from :usagi:. First is Gaga's hairstyle looking like Sailor Phi & Chi, Ariana Grande's butterfly looking like Sailor Heavy Metal Papillon and now one of Gaga's costume looking like one of those MOTD's in PGSM that were inspired from museum art pieces.

Paris gets asked about Sailor Moon at the 1:53 mark. Doesn't sound like she's ever actually watched the show (she seems to think the girls are sisters), but she's not wrong that Sailor Moon is such a legend.

^ I think Japanese anime & Western cartoon have been learning from each other over the years, even tho it's the former which took the very 1st step to learn from the latter, due to the longer history of the latter. :)
