Here's several height charts from the 90's anime if anyone wants to compare them to that calendar. Granted, the latter might not be as accurate as a proper height chart so keep that in mind.
S - Ikuko Itoh
S movie - Hisashi Kagawa(?)

SuperS - Ikuko Itoh
SuperS movie - Hisashi Kagawa
Sailor Stars - Katsumi Tamegai

Yeah, I'll take Chibi looking tiny any day. She looked way too long-legged and er... 'shapely' in the Black Moon arc of Crystal. Thankfully they fixed it in S3.
Don't forget her huge legs in the manga's Dream and Stars arcs.

For my part, I have always found that in Sailor Moon Crystal, everything seemed wrong.
Whether it is magical objects (pens, moon stick, talismans, everything).
When you look at the finish of the design, they look like baubles and not big magic items, there is no authenticity.
I'm not even talking about the costumes, they give the impression of a first-price fabric and not of a quality fabric.
There, where in the anime 90, everything felt real, and drawn with great care.

Uh? Now we gonna trash about the magical objects? Lmao cause if that the case, the 90's one looks very cheap with all that gold specially the cutie moon rod with the crystal/ball, it looked like a toy

It looks like a toy because it's intended to be a toy sold by Bandai. :P

I know, and so our comments became useless and irrelevants, specially the "no authenticity" part
Wtf does that mean? lol
Most of the people on here sadly cannot accept anything but the 90 show, praising even the worst aspect of it. I love the 9o show too, but i have never been a fan if the oversized pens and wands. They look cheap, plastick and one of the things I hate about Crystal season 3 are the way they reverted to that....

It can still be seen as authentic if you imagine the toy-like looks of the gadgets are in vogue in societies technologically far, far more advanced than our society at present. :)

I wish they worn the outfits seen in the ED of S instead.

Speculation, I was reading the manga earlier and in the manga Tux doesn’t throw any red roses.

When there is an allusion to a rose in the manga, it is a black, poisonous one. Naoko could have chosen any flower, but she chose a rose.

Maybe Naoko was tacitly communicating to the animation team that the red roses seen in nearly every episode of the 90’s anime were annoying?

He does not have any rose in manga, but he does on chapter covers and and some of color drawings.
