Toei sure has a bad way of advertising shows they have little faith in with costly wall decor, posters, and much more.
I know that in the states, when a film is shown in a theater, the theater gets the bulk of the profits so it was a risky affair to begin with if they were expecting huge numbers.
The coins for all these advertisements in Japan are coming from somewhere and it aint from fans praying to Pegasus to protect their Sailor Moon continuation dreams or Toei's GoFundMe page.
Maybe the bulk of this flurry of advertising is pushed by Naoko and Bandai because I can't see Toei beating a dead horse (sorry Helios) with an unprofitable product.
Toei knows merchandise, not the anime, is Sailor Moon's highest selling point.
I find all this advertisement stuff enticing. If they ever had something like that here I'd be the first one in and last one to leave. I need that Eternal Senshi background as a poster. It literally makes you want to buy the products.
A Sailor Moon Eternal blush, lipstick, lipgloss, nail polish and other makeup is really a great idea. I know women love those items!
I still want that Kaleidescope proplica. I just know that thing will sell and it changes colors. They need to sell the Sailor Crystals as actual gemstones and also Figuarts of Artemis, Phobos, and Deimos too. The Sailor Crystals could play each Senshi's theme from Crystal while flashing.
We need a video game and more based on each Season and you can play as your favorite Senshi..etc
