I really wonder why and how it came to the DS game Sailor Moon La Luna Splende, which was released for the Italian market. Of course this was far from a AAA title, but it is an official Sailor Moon game from Bandai Namco and they didn't care about the Japanese audience at all. I wonder if Bandai NamcoUS could/would work on a Sailor Moon game for western fans, with a higher budget and all.

And what else could there be to tell? Aliens invading earth again?
Specially after resetting the Galaxy and having received her final “eternal” form. I don’t see as well what could bring me eager to see more. But never says never...

Yes, if they wanted they could made tons of new arcs cause the series has lots of characters and stories to have an anime for: Silver Millenium stories from the past ( you could have the inners, outers and Serenity/Endymion/Queen serenity in it ), chibiusa growing up with the amazoness quartet and Helios in the earth too or in Crystal Tokyo, something in between the original 5 arcs, etc...

But yes, to me it seems like the arc of the teen inner senshi in the earth after Stars its done. I dont want them to come now 25 years later with a super ultimate new Sailor Moon form for example. Its something I hate about shonen series in general, specially with succesful series like Dragon Ball. There are 50 Goku forms for each new videogame, manga, anime, movie, etc...every time more powerful than before. At the end to me it kinda loses the magic and the importance of the evolving power forms of the characters.

There are other enemies that exists on Earth. The original anime had that Halloween type episode which showed that other supernatural things do happen on Earth and the episode with the Dragon female type monster who lost her lover

The Sailor Senshi can also travel to and save and encounter other Sailor Senshi. There is plenty to tell in the Sailor Moon story, all that's needed is someone creative to expand on it.

The franchise definitely has infinite potential for new stories, but like... You guys do realize there are literally HUNDREDS of film adaptations of Cinderella, right? And it's not like they're all radically different from each other. Toei can keep milking the same five arcs for the foreseeable future.

I think its pretty obvious that after Stars arc new enemies would appear anyway. Sailor Moon didnt destroy chaos and all its various children/beings born from it still exist. There's also plenty possibilities in mythos. Not to mention we know almost nothing about asteroid senshi for example. The potential is there.

It would take enemies that rival the power of Sailor Moon. Because, she kills everyone every time. There, where for example with Sailor Chaos, even Sailor Cosmos, was no match.

There havent been that many Cinderella adaptions and majority most people cant even name. So sure, if people want Sailor Moon to produce more relatively unknown variations of the same story they can go for it. If they want to produce something successful that is known relatively world wide, they'll change things up.

They would (and should) do a story where the Silver Crystal shatters again, pieces go throughout the galaxy and the team goes on a search for each shard. Sailor Moon is now depowered and it takes the whole team to take down the enemy.

Then events similar to R would have to happen with the Black Moon clan which would send Sailor Moon into a state of comatose.

Despite her unpopularity overall, Chibi-Usa is Usagi's successor as Sailor Moon or Neo Sailor Moon. I would watch a futuristic Neo Sailor Moon (Chibi-Usa). Not sure if she would still be into Helios but I'd like a futuristic Tuxedo Kamen dude too but not like Mamoru, I'd also like an episode of something where Minako's daughter decides to be the new Sailor V or something.

If Toei really wanted to be ballsy and feed the rage of fans....Make Usagi share a fate similar to her mother. The tears and outrage would be sweet!!! *in my Nehellania voice*

The only thing I didn't too much care for with Parallel Sailor Moon was that the children looked exactly like their parents and I would prefer they looked different, like Sailor Chibi Jupiter with long hair and Sailor Chibi Mars with something like a ponytail.

Not necessarily. The Black Moon Clan needs NQS to happen, to be sent away, and eternal life to come into play. If the Silver Crystal is somehow shattered a year or so after Galaxia arc and a portion of it remains with Sailor Moon, she'd still be able to transform but just not be as powerful.

Even cleaning up the galaxy and restoring order could be a storyline. Galaxia killed so many Guardians that it tipped the scale in evils favor and now the team must set out to help others.

I feel like it doesnt matter. They could introduce all kinds of new powerful items such as Holy Grail in the anime and so on which would give more power to the enemy. For example we have no idea what Black Crystal from Nemesis actually was but it gave the clan power to travel in time without Pluto knowing anything (!!!)... It doesnt have to be about Silver Crystal every time.

That is true however we have Cinderellas from all kinds of different sources meanwhile SM is still exclusively Toei's so if SM is there to stay with them i thnk it would be silly to attempt another retelling in animated form since they already did it twice. If they want more animated SM they need to try something new or wait like 15 years for a new rehash

This is true about Cinderella. The tales of her have been portrayed by a lot of cultures. There's a Chinese Cinderella, African American and beyond so that it appeals to more people. That's why Cinderella has survived for hundreds of years.

Just like Sailor Moon, people want more of it because of the story and finding out it's original darker version made people want that (and still want that).

Cinderella itself, the original tale is quite violent compared to Disney's take, which is tame.

It's like the Sailor Moon manga and the 90's series.

^ And yet, they still haven't made an official Sailor Moon dating simulator game, even though that seems like a really obvious concept.
Straight males apparently don't care for Sailor Moon in Japan anymore. It would be pointless to make a game aimed at them.
And I don't think Naoko would approve that, either. I really doubt Toei wouldn't sexualize the girls in this "new" animated adaptation if it weren't for the creative control she has nowadays. Say you what you want, but that was one of the big reasons Sailor Moon was also so appealing to boys/men in the 90s/early 2000s and I don't think they would let that go easily.
Anyway, Naoko has being saying since the 90s she designed the sailor soldiers to be "strong girls" and I really doubt she would give a dating sim for recluse, solitary men featuring her characters a pass.

There literally have been that many adaptations of Cinderella. And I'm not saying Toei should go out and make a hundred forgettable adaptations of Sailor Moon; I'm saying that you guys are underestimating just how much mileage the same old story can have.

And okay, fine: there are a lot of variants of the Cinderella story that can and have been used as the basis for films, plays, ballets, etc. Let's look at more recent stories that have a singular source version upon which all adaptations are based. Do you know how many dozens upon dozens of Dracula adaptations there are? Alice in Wonderland? Little Women? Frankenstein? A Christmas Carol? Some adaptations take a lot more creative liberties than others, but for the most part they're the same stories with the same characters and the same sequence of key events each time. Toei can keep adapting the same five story arcs, and so long as the animation looks good (or the costumes and visual effects in the case of live action adaptations) and fresh approaches to the material are taken, they'll be fine. We don't need a sixth story arc or even a new side story. (Not saying I wouldn't welcome that; of course my preference would be totally brand new stories. I'm just saying that it's not actually essential to the future of the franchise.)

A Sailor Moon dating simulation game would obviously be targeted at girls. You'd play as Usagi (or maybe one of the other Sailors, or even just as yourself) and choose which of Usagi's dozen plus suitors to date. It's pretty much a no-brainer.

That's what the 90's anime showed basically as the Imperium Silver Crystal in the 90's anime was the fact a lot less of the big bads were after the thing for them to have.

MANGA
-Queen Beryl and Queen Metaria both want the Silver Crystal to rule.
-Wiseman/Death Phantom wanted both the Silver and Malefic Black Crystal to have the ultimate power in the universe.
-Pharaoh 90 wanted the Crystal as substance/food
-Queen Nehelenia want the Silver Crystal to rule.
-Chaos wanted the Crystal it can one day become Sailor Chaos/Sailor Galaxia didn't want the Crystal just power it up so Usagi and Chaos will kill each other when they fight.

90'S ANIME
-Queen Beryl and Queen Metaria both want the Silver Crystal to rule.
-Wiseman/Death Phantom wanted to destroy the Silver Crystal as it was a threat to his plans.
-Pharaoh 90 needed the Holy Grail to gain entrance into our plane of existence.
-Queen Nehelenia want the Golden Crystal to rule.
-Sailor Galaxia did wanted the Silver Crystal... but only because it was also Sailor Moon Star Seed and even then she just wanted to own it not use it/Chaos showed no interest in it.

I headcanon that the reason why less people were after it in the anime was because in the anime the Imperium Silver Crystal has been known to kill users of it if their not careful enough with it.

This interesting because in the manga Usagi kinda believe that if it wasn't for Silver Crystal people always be fighting over it, starting wars, but as the anime shows that is simply not the case people will fight over things Silver Crystal or not.
