Sailor Moon is like a conduit for the best of all of them throughout, though. It's not just relying on his power. She repeatedly only pulls things off because the senshi lend their power to her in the manga and 90s anime. SuperS attacks were only possible with Helios'/Chibi-Moon's help. I don't see it as weakening her as a powerful woman. Nothing wrong with drawing strength from your loved ones IRL or otherwise.
Yeah totally, and she litteraly commited suicide 2 times in the manga when her lover died so it's not totally illogical that she feels more powerful when he is with her. And having more strenght when you feel loved doesn't make you weak. ::love::

Well she can use at least Moon Tiara Action LOL and used one time also Moon Gorgeous Meditation without Pegase in the SuperS movie (canon well yeah not really for sure). But just because the producers were too cheap to draw a new attack sequence without Pegase doesn’t mean she cannot really used the Moon Kaleidoscope without Pegase around (we see her preparing to attack with it in Stars). That was always one the thing I hate in SuperS Season... sames goes for her transformation with Chibimoon with Moon Crisis Make Up. The fact she always transform with Chibimoon doesn’t mean she cannot transform alone; she did one time in the SuperS anime (off-screen) and she has a alone henshin sequence in the sega Saturn game.

what do you think ?

Its so great that finally they portrait Mamoru as a powerful warrior with magic power that can have a big battle himself and protect his beloved ones with his power. In the 90's he was just the funny character that appeared at the last moment to save the girls with a rose. They made him a clown basically. The other use that the 90's gave him was just to be the object that had to be kidnapped by the villains to emotionally make Sailor Moon weak. Seriously... in the manga he is so much better as a fighter ( I liked best when he was Mamoru that when he was Tuxedo Mask ) and I'm glad they made him justice in Crystal.

Im also loving the fact that its not always Sailor Moon fighting alone in the end. She is the main character of the story yes, but having another character so important next to her that helps with the fight its a really positive point. Remember she and Mamoru are the future king and queen of a kingdom. They both need to have power and they both need to battle enemies.

I consider myself a very feminist man but I dont get why feminism in here means that Usagi needs to do things alone without the help of a man. Why can't they both be there to help each other and share power to defeat the enemy? I also dont see that " Usagi is dependent of Mamoru's affection ". Where? She is the one who kills Nehelenia alone ( with the help of the senshi ), she is always the one who save the world at the end usually by herself. Also Mamoru is the person she loves the most ( besides chibiusa ), its her family and the one who will spend the rest of her life in the future. She is also a teenager girl here... we all know how strong are emotions towards people we love in those ages.

This has always been the worst part of SuperS to be honest. I never understood how they got those ideas of having to be together to transform and the Pegasus energy needed for attacking. They really made both characters so weak and dependent from others. Like literally it must be the season where Tuxedo saves them the most while they dont do [BLEEP] to protect themselves.

We know just by ONE scene in the whole SuperS series that Chibiusa can use her bell to attack enemies ( same attack as pink sugar heart attack ) and not only to summon Pegasus. Why the heck they only used that one time if they almost die in every episode by the correspondent Youma of the day? It's a mess. It's also a mess to have her being offensive in S by having her stick and her attack ( that worked some times and helped to the battle ) and now that she is upgraded in Super Form her only power as a sailor senshi is to summon a horse? That's all you ve got? Man... messy.

The same with Super Moon. She only uses her Moon Tiara attack once in SuperS ( to break the mirror at the dead moon circus ) and she can't use her kaleidoscope if Pegasus doesnt give her energy which makes her useless again in battle.

SuperS season is such a downgrade when it comes to powers... while the Manga Arc its the totally opposite with all the characters. They all are more important, got upgrade with new abilities ( talk about Mamoru ) and powers and grow up as warriors.

The SuperS movie did them some justice by adding the kaleidoscopes to be used on their own and not by Pegasus but then even tough its " canon " it makes the whole product be so inconsistent cause it doesnt make any sense what they did in the anime season.

Plus ALL of the Sailor Guardians are involved in giving Eternal Sailor Moon the power to defeat Nehellenia in the Dreams arc. I don’t know how you can compare that to SuperS where not only Super Sailor Moon was reliant on Pegasus (a man disguised as a horse) every episode, including the finale where she was falling to her death while the main villain survived, all of the other senshi were left powerless on the ground just like what people complained about in the first two seasons of Crystal... Well except for Uranus and Neptune who were probably on some vacation! Girl power. ;)

That is related to Lambda Power that Usagi is destined to acquire which is related to oneness, one of the core themes of Stars, she gained the power to draw strength from the Galaxy itself, the opposite to Chaos.

I don't understand why in SuperS, they shouted "MOON Crisis Power" to summon the power of the Golden Crystal!?
i just rewatched the SuperS movie and she there summons “Crisis Power” :wtf:?!

did we ever got an explanation from some producers explaining why “Crisis make up” became “Moon crisis make up” anyway ?

I'm tired when people complain when characters rely on their love ones.Especially if it's woman rels on a man. There is nothing week about it.
