In fact, Venus' attack is the only one we don't really see in the trailer, we see only the wink part from the new version of 90's anime sequence. So maybe it's no9t going to be shown in this movie,. As I said, I think Venus' cliffhanger will close the movie, and I agree about it being big enough for it. Maybe, as some suggested here, we'll see Usagi somewhere and the Outers in an after-credits scene.

I think it's a good option because we are left with a cliffhanger of Venus in danger, but next movie doesn't start with her! it starts with the Outers, so some fans will ask themselves "but what happened with Venus!" (remember that not everyone has read the manga). I think it's a good moment to split Dream arc.
This shift in foxus on a clif hanger clearly slipt the arc in two, so I beth my head they will use that for the films. Subverted expections is very big nowadays in media. So starting with the outers instead of the battlle it will be that "Wait, what is going on with this" from manga vergins. But then again most Japanese fans, which the films are targeted at, are way more familiar with the manga.

Well, of course we could be wrong and they could surprises us with something entirely different (maybe better, maybe worse lol). But I like the idea of splitting the story there. I hate it at the same time because that means we won't get Sailor Saturn and Sailor Pluto's transformations until the 2nd movie, but I don't see a way for that to happen in the 1st movie anyway lol.

Saturn's transformation is always making us wait! when we finally are going to get it, they change the series into movies, they delay them a lot, and we have to wait for the 2nd one! lol, not fair.

The reason why i think they will rearrange Venus chapter and Outers chapter is because i dont think Artemis possible death is that big of a cliffhanger. Not because of Artemis but because at that point we know that both Minako and Artemis can be rescued by Usagi and/or Chibiusa. Also Venus is yet to get her upgrade. On the other hand all four upgraded inner senshi being captured and tortured by Quartet while Usagi is shown having symptomps of Mamoru's sickness and has no idea what is going on with Inners is much more interesting. I think the cliffanger being "who will help them if Usagi and Chibiusa wont" for people who never read the manga will be more thrilling.

As for Love and beauty shock in the teaser: i know they make the stock footage in advance but i still think they've shown it for a reason.

I think they will rearrange the plot, staying faithful to the manga of course, but not 1:1 as crystal did so far - i bet the screenplay will include some changes, approved by takeuchi. Venus in distress won‘t be the climax of the film.

I'm hoping for more of that SuperS movie battle scenes. A mix of stock footage and real time action. Also a proper Chronos Typhoon.

Of course they won't adapt 1:1, but I hope they won't mix the stories of Ami, Rei and Makoto together.

I really doubt that seriously. They probably would do 1.1 but omit scenes.

My only issue with squeezing in Sailor Venus' transformation and attack is that Part I is going to already need to adapt five entire chapters of the manga, so squeezing in additional scenes might make the movie feel bloated.

Plus, it'll feel really repetitive if all four girls get their power-ups separately. So either they mix Ami, Rei, and Makoto's chapters together or they handle Venus' upgrade separately in Movie 2.

In the manga, secrects of Dead Moon circus are revealed one by one, along with individual stories. And Mamoru's symptom got worse chapter by chapter. So we can assume that four girls' story happens chronologically. So it's hard to mix those chapters into one.

I disagree but then the best option is to have Venus’ transformation happen in Part 2, otherwise you’re going to have a bloated mess of a movie.

those first chapters of the manga are very episodic and it takes s good screenplay to adapt it for a film. A film narrative follows a structure and can‘t be like 3 episodes lined up. This is super exciting. Can‘t wait for more news

I think it's quite possible to make things work but only if the writer is capable of doing it correctly and works well with the director. We don't what they are exactly omitting so far so everything is in the air and anything can be possible, though I'm sure they will stick close to the manga in certain aspects...

The trailer seems to imply they will stck close to the battle. I have a feeling the first battle in wich Usagi and Chibi Usa fight the tiger might be rewritten a bit. We will have the girls to transform and fight together so they can show the new ransformations for all the girls, but they will use old attacks with new animation - it will play up the unability of inako to transform from the begining and this will make her transformation to happen in the second film more or less anticipated as it will forshadow it. They will obtain new powers and attacks throught the film, all but Venus. The three part structure is a Hollywood thing and some anime films do not follow it. I won't be surprised if the movie simply feel like 6 episodes shown back to back. I am fairly certain they won't go beyond the 5th chapter though. Keep in mind the first chapter is double in lenght, so they are pretty much adapting 6 chapters already.

The movie is probably not going to be a movie in a traditional sense.Remember this is season 4 it's probably going to feel like episodes smash together.I really doubt there going to smash all three scenes at one.
This movie is supervised by Naoko. Three stories are mixed or not, we shouldn't blame Toei for deciding it on their own.
