Season 4 movies update: Sailor Moon Eternal - Delayed to 2021 (Part 1 on January 8th & Part 2 on February 11th)

I am going to get lambasted and crucified for saying this, but I don't agree, I think the manga version aged like milk, even if it did treat Pluto better and actually developed her character (not saying R is flawless, it had problems too).

I adore the “Black Moon” arc and I love seeing the image of Neo-Queen Serenity resting under the Silver Crystal, as well as Artemis and Luna discovering that Diana is their daughter, not to mention Pluto. I love how that particular episode was handled.

I dislike the “Dream” arc, which I am reading right now, I think it feels like a bad episode from the 90’s anime, with each chapter being too long—and with the senshi being confronted by their own fears and insecurities just like they were in the previous arc. Ami wants to be a doctor, Minako wants to be an idol, Makoto loves cooking and flowers, I got that, there was no need to repeat this information.

I think they know best who to cast to attract Japanese audience as they are their main target. I would have loved for tgem to cast some vetsas well, but both the Nehelenia and Zirconia's VAs are quite popular in Japan and will attract audience. With Sailor Moon their target are older women, not otakus and most of tgeir target audience probably don't even watch anime in general. But most of them are familiar with trending influencers or actresses and might be further interested to see the show.

Do you guys think there will be another trailer. I doubt it but the name of tge video is implying there will be another one. As it is not the trailer, but the 60 minutes trailer. Is it just me reading too much into it or do you think this implies another trailer might come at some point.

Someone on Youtube said that there will be another trailer of 90 seconds in December....but I don't know.
I think another trailer is needed anyway, one that shows a bit more about the villains.

I‘m sure they will release a story trailer. The recent trailer is not sufficient, it shows nothing but the Inners having an inner monologue and their attacks. If you look at the trailers for Crystal s1-3 they all give you an idea about the story.

I think the best part is January, after part 1 is premiered. I bet we WILL see new key visual, or even Mamo in a trailer! There must be a reason for them not to show the face of Mamoru in trailer.

They will probably release a 90 seconds trailer in december. That's what I've seen in most anime movies.
I'm so glad to see that the fandom has received the trailer with such good critics! The views on Youtube don't stop increasing so I am quite sure this is going to be quite successful, and if covid wasn't among us, it would definitely be released internationally (I still think it would be in some countries).

I doubt it. If Mars Flame Sniper suggest something, it is that even the 90s attacks from the teaser were a red herring as well.We are getting some stuff from them, but something new as well. The whole trailer suggests we are sticking as close to the manga as before - most scenes are manga panels recreated, but this time it looks good instead of awkward as most are inspured instead of downright copying it. I love the atmosphere - Elysion from the poster looks great, the rainy scene givesall the right feels, and my personal favourite is the glimps of the mirror house with Rei. It is simpe but gvies me all the shivers.

The Eternal version has a very bright blue color scheme... I don't like it. The 90's design pulled off the "Queen of Darkness" feel much better than Eternal.

Maybe just a still pic of a rose outta nowhere at the end of a trailer? The rose thing is also totally absent in PGSM, but that didn't prevent the actor of Mamoru from posing w/ it on pics in mag articles promoting the show back then. lol
