You deserve it! BTW what else do you know about the dub? Did your source tell you anything else?
I know more stuff about the Brazilian dub, but revealing it would mean compromising the non-disclosure agreement everyone involved probably signed. :kero:
And if you ask me, Toei and Netflix are probably already losing their crap at VSI for "announcing" their streaming deal even before they did It themselves.

If there's a Blu-ray at all...no guarantees with Netflix involved that it'll happen outside of Japan.
There will probably be one since it's a popular title. Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution debuted in the U.S. as a Netflix original in February of this year and in November Viz Media released it on Blu-ray. I expect a similar arrangement for Eternal.

It might be a month of a wait, but at least it won't be 6 months or more because anime movies takes forever. We still have no idea when Heaven's Feel III will be released.
It was simultaneous in the case of Digimon Tri. So, it could be similar in Eternal's case

That said, that was on Crunchyroll. So, I couldn't assure that will be the case on Netflix.

Although there has been no announcement, it seems clear that the movie will have a worldwide release via Netflix on January 2. Because theaters in Japan will be closed.
Oh Wow, that would be a sweet start for 2021!

I’ll probably watch the movies in all languages I speak, many times. Each version has a unique touch and while I always prefer the japanese original, the experience understanding every word said without reading subs is really nice.

Glad its Netflix and not Disney.

Disney is too greedy these days. Also my country doesn't have Disney +.

Also Disney seems to be failing with Mulan and that videogame Marvel Avengers by Square Enix. How does a successful developer fail with a very popular franchise? The only thing going for Disney right now is The Mandalorian.

Why would Disney ever touch Sailor Moon? It's not what they consider to be family-friendly. I think that was never a possibility to begin with.
Dialogues between Haruka and Michiru from the 90s are more "progressive" than any implied gay couple or kiss they put in their animated shows nowadays, let alone scenes from Crystal like Uranus kissing Moon.

Last I heard they renewed their contract with Crystal in Hulu.

I'm happy TOEI went with Netflix and I don't mind it's delayed in my country. Just the thought its there over Netflix gives me hope I can watch the Eternal movies.

Haven't watch the VIZ version but it's frustrating when a bigger market like Star Wars doesn't want gay characters in it like Finn and Poe much less that lesbian kissing scene because that big market here in asia hates the LGBT community. Sady the head honcho over at Disney loves money more despite a certain large ethnic group commits so many human rights violation.

Serves them right to lose so much revenue with Mulan. #TakeThatDisney :p

Disney+ is family friendly and that's why some of their productions are heading to Hulu in the US and other streaming services they own worldwide.
I don’t have Disney+, but from my understanding Disney and Pixar have been producing gay-themed and family-friendly cartoons for Disney+ (for example, “Out”).

Disney also owns Marvel & Marvel has tons of gay characters.

I don't have Netflix but I am certainly going to purchase it now. I also watch things on my projector and not TV so I am ready to cough up some coins if it is airing January 2 for a somewhat cinematic experience in my place I haven't watched much TV (projector) in months and here comes Sailor Moon Eternal making me get back to screening. I'm ready!!

I swear if they say it's gonna happen I am buying snacks and everything and squealing.

I highly recommend watching isekai anime like Re:Zero, Overly Cautious Hero and Rise Of The Shield Hero. Also K Project only cause one of the lieutenants looks like :haruka: performing Space Sword Blaster. Also Rage Of The Bahamut, Castlevania and Blood Of Zeus is good if you love D&D.

"Love, Victor", a spin-off series to "Love, Simon", a gay coming-of-age movie, was placed on Hulu instead of Disney+. Believe me, they aren't going that far with Disney+.
