It's always bugged me that Mars's castle is called "Phobos Deimos Castle" because 1) it sounds really clunky, and 2) her partners are already named Phobos and Deimos, so it feels redundant and kind of lazy to me.

So I'd like to offer a few alternatives:

1. Viking Castle - One of the earliest spacecraft sent to monitor Mars was the Viking 1, so naming Mars's castle "Viking" would follow the pattern established be Venus's "Magellan Castle" and Mercury's "Mariner Castle."

2. Odyssey Castle - The 2001 Mars Odyssey is another, more recent, spacecraft orbiting Mars, with a name that perhaps better fits the series' overarching Greco-Roman aesthetic.

3. Olympus Castle - While most of the Sailors' castles are named after natural or artificial satellites, not all of them are (e.g. Chibi Moon's "Crystal Palace"), so I see no reason why Mars's castle couldn't take its name from one of Mars's most iconic and distinguishing characteristics: Olympus Mons, the tallest known volcano in the Solar System.

4. Cydonia Castle - Similarly, perhaps Mars's castle should be named for the site of another of the red planet's most famous features: Cydonia, home to the Face on Mars. There are many people who are not at all crazy who believe Cydonia contains the ruins of an ancient Martian civilization, so it would make sense for Mars's castle to be named for this region.

Have a different suggestion? Or do you think "Phobos Deimos Castle" is fine as is?

My personal choice would be Olympus Castle, but Odyssey Castle would work just as well if we have to stick to the whole named-after-a-satellite pattern.

I mean I like it being called Phobos Deimos castle especially since all of the other Senshi's castles are named after Moons and hey with Phobos and Deimos being Rei's Guardians it sets the precedence for there to be Guardians for the other Senshi based on their respective Moons and castles.

After pointing out that Phobos and Deimos are actually Mars' moons and it's the two ravens who are named after them, I dare say I agree for a changed name, and provide my alternative suggestions:

Phobos Deimos Castle does strike me as a little clunky now that the topic has been brought up, although I understand the meaning. One could infer there was a civil war long ago and to settle it, the people ruled by Mars decided to combine the names of the two factions or generals for the castle.

Personally, I'd go off the beaten path. I know it's now the name used for a dwarf planet, but Eris Castle would have been a nice way to tie into the Mars/Ares theme without coming across as too esoteric.

I think the best option would be Olympus Castle, after Olympus Mons, the tallest mountain on Planet Mars.
