I'd be very happy to see Sailor Moon redone, especially without the shortcomings that often plagued classic and R, and maybe with some more manga content.

There are other projects I'd rather see first, like Sailor V or a new series. Of course, when you've thwarted a force so powerful it came within inches of conquering the galaxy, there isn't that much left to do, is there?

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'd love to see a Yu-Yu Hakusho crossover since Naoko married Yoshihiro Togashi, but I'm a crossover whore.

Blarg, I'd take pretty much anything. The world can never have too much Sailor Moon.

I would say not really, although I'm not against change and something new Sailor Moon-related...

THIS. I was so disappointed when I found out that the live action series was only covering the first story arc. :(

I would want them to keep the same drawing style but just add little touch-ups where needed (you got to admit the animators got a little lazy in some parts of the series).
If there were to be a remake, I would really like it if the style were more similar to Takeuchi's. :)

And with a consistent Sailor Pluto. The way Toei handled her was pretty odd.

In regards to the Sega Saturn game and the movies, I don't think we can hold that against them since they are different continuities.

The movies are not seperate continuities from the anime. They are apart of the same canon as for the Sega Saturn game that is a different story.

Well, if the movies are part of the same canon as the TV series, then Pluto's appearance in the SuperS movie contradicts her return in Sailor Stars. I can also point out other inconsistencies. I believe the movies are stand alone.

but most of all I want more seasons of PGSM

I know!! I wish there was more! it would deff be cool to see a real life Michiru and Haruka!

however there is a japanese drama called last friends and two of the main girls are Michiru and Ruka and they both remind me of Neptune and Uranus!

The SuperS movie is the only one that doesn't fit. The R and S movies, however, can fit. They don't *have* to, yes, but they still can.

And, as for how Maria's gonna explain Pluto's presence in the SuperS movie, there are no canon facts in her explanations.

AMEN.

The way she looks in the Stars screencap is how she should have looked the entire time, except the ears are shaded funny.

If they can make more season of anime, I really want some season focused on Moon cats. They are not quite helpful for senshi, so I want either one of them fight with final boss, or have focused in love of Artemis and another senshi. I want Artemis's love, because Luna had too much love interests, and she never feels guilty about it.

yeah they need to go back to the drawing board I can say after reading the manga again lately that Crystal is nothing compared to it
to the point where I find it insulting to the manga

however I'm not trying to bash it if anything I'm annoyed at Toei for adding things that didn't need to be added I know there's people who like it [I myself even warmed up to it last year] and may see things different, overall I speak for myself

all the things I do like about crystal came from the manga and season 3 as a whole [animation improved a lot ]

so I'm in agreement with Blue Moon that the manga as an anime should be remade
the 90s anime [my fav and in my opinion the best adaption] has come and gone I can accept that why can't others?

I find this thread pointless since crystal came out.

as for resurrecting old threads I'd only do so when you have something to contribute to the topic to make it relevant again
otherwise what's the point?
