So ever since the freshmen year of high school (Im at my 2nd year now) of of my friends in my class know that I talk about Alot of anime including Sailor Moon and he completely trashes on it and makes fun of me saying that "Sailor Moon is a hentai and [BLEEP]ing trash" or "Sailor Moon is for Hentai Users" which both of those sentences doesn t make any sense once so ever he keeps saying that to me all the time when im watching or post anime stuff on my Instagram I'm kind of getting sick of getting called a Hentai User but he never watched it before but he stills criticize it for no reason I don't know what to do can anyone help. Also, i get judged for watching old anime and I'm the type of Anime Fan who loves old and new anime and people judge me for liking a old anime and keeps making fun of me for liking of what I like, I dont know what to do anymore to stop this

Find new friends. Also read up on Dale Carnegies 'How To Win Friends And Influence People' if you're not too confident on your social skills.

Also if you're still too introverted its best to start in Facebook and also Discord.

I can get you into a Sailormoon S Snes discord chat. Just PM me if interested.

Cnage your friends. He has clearly neer watched the show - it is as far from hentai as you can get.
Huh? The show can get pretty sexy. Haruka hits on Usagi and Mako occasionally, plus Rei's transformation sequence and the "talent" skit with Mako.

Regardless, I get picked on every now and then for things related to my liking of Sailor Moon and my thinking Sailor Mars is sexy, and people probably say more behind my back. I even take crap from other fans for liking Sailor Moon Crystal, plus a lot of fans try and bring left-wing politics into the picture which I stay away from since it would get me angry and affect my love for the show and the characters.

But I love the show, and I love the characters, so I watch it and enjoy it. And you should too.

Stop watching anime for little girls and being a hentai user, and watch some manly anime instead, like Naruto or One Piece. Then your friend will respect you.

Someone told me that once, that I should balance out my liking of "cute girl shows" with something more masculine.

tell them you can watch what you want just like they can do the same, ignore them

nobody should feel shamed for liking something especially sailor moon

I dealt with that in the 90s when there was far more stigma for a straight 9 year old boy to like a girls cartoon back then than there would be now
always being told DBZ is superior etc now I do like DBZ but didn't get into it for years cause of those who shoved it down my throat back then

So they don't care for you liking sailor moon? tell them deal with it.

How the hell does this help me?
By providing a direct and immediate solution to the problem you wrote about in the first post ("Some of my friends judge me for watching Sailor Moon what should I do?") If you decided in advance already that the problem is in your friends and not in you, then your question is kind of pointless and misleading. Maybe a better thread title would be "Some of my friends judge me for watching Sailor Moon, please pat me on the back and tell me all of them are wrong?" Because that's the kind of responses you were expecting, weren't you? :cthulhu:

Put on a Senshi Costume, hop on the table/piano/whatever during your next Club Meeting and start singing ♪I am what I am, and what I am needs no excuses♫ or ♪I will surviiiive, I will surviiiive♫ or any other 'Coming Out' song, telling them that you don't need 'friends' who bash you for something you like and that they can just stick their homophobic prejudice up to where the sun doesn't shine. :)

Part kidding, it's only a suggestion, not a recommendation or even an order.
