She could still try to overemphasize those consonants, couldn't she?
You mean like "De-ead... Scree-eem..."? That would be very awkward with her lips opening and closing each time.

Honestly above is probably what'd soudn like. She sounds like the viz va too.

Erica Mendez notified me via twitter, that she's not the voice of Diana.

So, it could be narrowed down to Tara Platt or Debi Derryberry.
Debi's not credited in the show at all plus I highly doubt they would bring in Tara to voice a third semi-major character after just having her voice Kaolinite for S.

Wasn't someone hoping for Laura Bailey in S?

It might be Debi Derryberry since she's voicing Candy on Glitter Force. She wouldn't be credited though, at least under her real name. I'm sure Viz will announce Diana's voice at some point though. If they announce her voice as "Sue Swan" or "Dee Dee Green," it's Debi.

Finally watched the episode, and boy does Diana's dub voice sound so wrong. She sounds way older and way more intelligent/educated than she's supposed to be, and not nearly as uber adorable as either her Japanese 90's anime voice or her Japanese Crystal voice. It is just so very off for her as she sounds like a fully grown big kid instead of sounding more infantile.

I like it. She sounds like a younger Michelle Ruff, at least to me.

I think Diana's voice would have been perfect for Luna. But it is not right for Diana. At all. :dead:

Oh snap, yes it would have been! Completely, absolutely, 100% agree! :eeklez:

Though, on the notion of it sounding like a younger Michelle Ruff, it might actually be her doing Diana's voice. Ruff has done younger-sounding voices in past anime dub works (Digimon Tamers and Digimon Frontier, for instance) so it's possible that it is Ruff voicing Diana.

Prince rapey is here, ill.

And those dam bullies, I tell you they are the lucky the Sailor Quartet weren't here.

Anyway great episode, the cast delivers here.

I think both Robbie Daymond and Stephanie Sheh do a great job deepening their voices for King Endymion and Neo Queen Serenity.

Yeah, did they not do that as much in the first anime? Mamoru arguing with his voice in his head could have been more convincing...

I wonder how they arrived at "Evil Sight" as the name of that power when I thought the more traditional term "evil eye" would be easier to comprehend. (At first I couldn't find it on a Sailor Moon wiki, but then I discovered they called it "Invincible evil sight.")

It was also a Kodansha manga term.
