Ew @ "Hikawa Jinja." I hope they use "Shrine." There's no reason to arbitrarily leave in Japanese words that have clear English analogs.
Me too, but I think it was done that way so it would be more consistant with the other location names, which weren't translated either in Kodansha's last translation. I wish they'd use "Sendai Hill" as well.

Not to mention, in the context of the story, it's used like a wand.

"Moon Stick" just makes me want to laugh everytime I read it. Something that I doubt was Naoko Takeuchi's intent.

It's possible keeping the Japanese honorifics was a request by the Kodansha Japan or Naoko herself.
Kodansha keeps honorifics in all their translation. I wish IZ could hae taken the edition. When it comes to manga they are doing great job with both translation and presentation - Utena manga box is phenomenal.

No they don't. Both "Attack on Titan" and "The Ghost and the Lady" localise the honorifics to English.

Maybe it has something to do with whether the story is set in Japan or not.

of course if the story is not set in Japan they won't use them. But everything set in Japan has them intact.

It does sound a bit outdated, or funny. I can't remember the last time I heard somebody say "in a pinch". I know for the releases I've done with Discotek, we'd typically change it to "in peril" or "in danger".
The whole Sailor Moon series is itself outdated, though. It's set over two decades ago in the early-to-mid 90s, which was a time when the phrase "in a pinch" was very much being used.

Mystical Silver Crystal confirmed (from @lambdapowers twitter).
Spoiler: show

Nothing for us to be "nervously" about either.
Spoiler: show

EDIT: According to this youtube review.
- Weirdly, chapter 6 is titled "Act 6 Tuxedo Kamen Tuxedo Mask".
- The translation notes are giant paragraphs which I can't wait to read.

How is this update of manga better than the last time they released the manga? Also when it says "Eternal Edition" could it be a reference to Eternal Sailor Moon?

Just picked up my copy from Walmart. I got home, opened up the package, and....it's damaged. The bottom is all crushed. I'll be returning it and hopefully the replacement will be in perfect shape.

Anyway, it really is a beautiful book, and I can't wait to have a perfect copy of it to treasure. There are some things I'm not crazy about (honorifics, some font choices) but overall I'm very pleased. "Meatball Head" and "Empyrean Silver Crystal" (shouldn't it be "Imperium" though?) even got shout-outs in the translator's notes!
