), the cutting of Smile Precure to two 20-episode seasons prove this because that's what Saban has been doing for Power Rangers since getting that show back and under their deal with Nick.
The 20 episode seasons for Power Rangers was imposed on them by Nick. No idea why they followed suit for Glitter Force

It could have been worse since they were originally going to call it Gangnam Girls...

Both titles are better than Pretty Cure which is just a nonsense Engrish title

Maybe they announce more details on the movie on June 30th which is Sailor Moon's birthday. Afterall, they didfirst mention the movie on June 30th of last year.

I'm not to sure we'll be getting any update soon either since cramming..I mean writing content for the movie is taking a long time. I can understand their plight though. It won't be an easy feat to get this done smoothly. Considerable care..(did I just says that?) has to be applied how the story is told and it has to be effectively and give each Inner their time to shine and talk to their weapons and stuff, lol. We just have to have hope, that it will hopefully turn out well, I hope..(A lot of hope in that one sentence) but I don't wanna sound negative. I don't hate Crystal. It could be better, but I don't hate it, which is why we need another season of PGSM with the Outers...:vanish:

At the risk of getting off-topic, they wouldn't even need to reboot the live action series first IMO; they could just do a sequel series based on the Infinity arc where we see Haruka, Michiru, and Setsuna awaken as Sailor Guardians, get their talismans, and try to stop the Death Busters / Sailor Saturn from awakening. Maybe they could include Chibiusa (as a girl unrelated to Usagi) getting awakened as the new Sailor Moon after having a plush toy Diana bonk her on the head if they want/need to include a "Sailor Moon."

Or she could still be Usagi’s daughter, just not from the future. (Considering Usagi is implied to be pregnant at the end of PGSM.)

Usagi's kid would be about 13 now, so that could work too of course, but then they would probably have to cast/deal with Usagi and the others. If they made a Chibiusa character completely unrelated to Usagi's, they could just avoid the Inners altogether, making things less complicated.

I was thinking they don’t necessarily don’t have to show Mama!Usagi’s or Papa!Mamoru’s faces. But thinking about the fact that they’d automatically recognize the Diana plushie for what she actually is, you’re probably right it’d have to be a Chibiusa who is completely unrelated.

If a new live action Sailor Moon was made, I think it would be more likely they would do another adaptation of the Dark Kingdom arc as a new live action movie with a new cast. Even if they could find a way to make a second season of PGSM work with the storyline, the original cast is probably too old to play the Sailor Guardians. They would definitely have to recast Shingo and Sailor Luna.

I'm thinking maybe the reason Toei and Viz are taking a long time with production of the Sailor Moon Crystal movie and with dubbing the Sailor Moon S movie and the Sailor Moon Super S movie is because they want to focus on dudding the rest of the original series which is Supers part 2 and Stars and also release the eternal edition of the manga. How does my theory sound?

Toei isn't delaying the Crystal movie so Viz can catch up on dubbing the original anime, and neither has anything to do with the eternal editions of the manga

S & SuperS Movies - It's because of reverse importation fears, the Japanese Blu-ray box with all 3 films came out back in February and Toei may still want to wait a while before giving those masters away. We got lucky with R but even then, that turned out to be a half-assed effort on Viz's part since it was missing stuff, some of which is on the Japanese set and previous DVDs.

Eternal Edition Manga - Neither Viz nor Toei has anything to do with that, that's Kodansha USA's problem (and Kodansha Japan too considering the similar delays with the bilingual editions).

Well, perhaps fans can hope for at this point is news from a Sailor Moon panel at the Los Angeles on July 5-8th or any other big North American anime expo.

I thought since Viz licensed the movies with thee show it would be automatic release is Toei refusing to send them the masters?, the S movie could've easily been released last year during the Winter season with SuperS following the 2nd part of SuperS at the end of this year.

As for the R movie oh boy what parts are missing I still haven't seen their dub of it yet.

-New cover & DVD menu art by an unknown artist that looks like a bootleg.
-No reversible artwork
-No closed caption/SDH dubtitles
-None of the songs were translated in either of the sub tracks
-Make Up Sailor Guardians has no chapter stops except at the end.
-The theatrical showings and digital release had English-translated credits at the end of both the special and film and yet they aren't anywhere on the discs, not even as extras.
-The Japanese track is mono while the Japanese release has both that AND a Stereo mix (confirmed by Sailor Moon News on Twitter).
-There's a Director interview with Ikuhara about the movie from the original LaserDisc release that we didn't get here but is on the Japanese disc. Also missing are the creditless opening & trailers (confirmed by Sailor Moon News' review of that set).

The only decent thing we got here was the art gallery from the R2 DVD with designs from the movie.
