They revealed the rest of the inners. Im dissapointed with Rei. Her hair is pitch black again. What is the point of making acollaboration with Crystall Dark Kingdom arc, juding by the costumes, and don't follow basic color scheme...

I mean it’s nice to have a reminder that Crystal isn’t canned, but I just never understood what’s the point of doing this kind of promotional collaborations...when there’s nothing new from Crystal to promote? Shouldn’t these things be saved when they actually have a new movie to promote?
I think it's for money,nd publicity. Doing collabs can get you more money for a project, and publicity. Also, this might mean the movie's are coming soon.

I feel like these collaborations just end up flying under the radar without doing much except confusing fans with random designs that don’t even seem related to Crystal aside from a few similarities (in this case the designs look exactly like the ‘90s anime - so why even call it Crystal). I’m sure they’re getting money out of licensing, but if they don’t have any potential news about the movies they’re better off using the ‘90s anime instead of just stringing fans of Crystal a long.

Yes, the only Crystal thing about these are the manga details, like Usagi hair pins and Venus belt, otherwise these are chibi 90s

Collabs & Crystal are unrelated, just as they're unrelated to the musicals nor any other incarnations of the franchise. lol

Nice news! Hopefully we'll get a real standalone Sailor Moon game soon.

Regarding the designs: Looks like they just applied the Puyo Puyo style. So I bet (and hope) these character designs have nothing to do with the Crystal movies.

They are executing the designs as a fusion of both the 90's anime vision and Naoko's vision. That's why Mercury doesn't have her sleeves, Usagi has her barrettes and those curls on the side of her head, Venus has her chain. Its exactly the same as to what they did in Universal. Aside from those changes listed above, Rei's hair is black with the middle bangs except for her side bangs and Jupiter is brunette.

While happy for Doremi fans. I think Toei just ruined whatever respect I had left. So we are wating for 3 years for nothing, and this is thing comes with a time slot out of nowhere. I honestly regret supporting Sailor Moon as a franchise and Toei as its creators... This is complete lack of respect on their part. I will never buy anything Sailor Moon ever again. Toei and Kodansha don't deserve a dime.

Wow, even Doremi is getting a movie before Crystal. So embarrassing. What's next? Sally the Witch getting one too before Crystal? It's clear Toei couldn't care less about SM so they should just release Dream and Stars as audio drama or manga 2.5 and get it over with.

Sally The Witch had 50th anniversary in 2016, so i wouldn't count on it :) Unless we count 30th anniversary of remake, with was released in 1989 :)

I heard lots of good things about Doremi, and fact same staff is making movie give big hopes for it, i have to watch that series one day, same Staff also made Heartcatch Precure with i really enjoyed :)

But yeah, it doesnt seem good, almost EVERY series is getting at least release date (another Digimon movie) or rumors about premiere (2nd series of Super) Dream on the other hand have NOTHING, at this point, even 2020 is unlike date, and even if it will be released, im afraid many people wont care at this point...

I was worried this would be the reaction to the Doremi movie.
That show is as much of a classic in Japan as Sailor Moon, and it's had *nothing* over the years outside of a light novel series.

What has Sailor Moon had? Mountains of merchandise and collaborations that are still going strong even after 5 years, mobile games, orchestrated concerts, musicals every year, two Universal Studios attractions, 39 episodes of a new series, and more. How many other series besides Dragon Ball have gotten this much attention?

But the moment another series gets something you throw a fit? That's just childish.

No one is mad at Doremi getting a sequel though. People are infuriated it’s been two years since the 4th arc was announced literally in early 2017 and every other Toei franchise has been able to properly set a date for a new project. We still have no idea when these movies are released. This is abnornal.

I too honestly doubt a 2020 release date at this point. Toei’s entire lineup has been announced for next year and it’s too late for a 2019 announcement. It’s clear they are either:

1) Targetting 2021 since that’s the 30th Anniversary.
2) They’re scrapped.
