While I Am Proud to be a Moonie, I Hate this Fandom At Times

Yeah, could have been that. Oh well, I still liked Stars despite its flaws it had (not expanding the lore of the series like the manga did, the Outers' minor roles)...
Glad you liked the Stars anime.

I know I'm replying to and bumping up an old thread, there are some updates I'd like to say:

- I don't look at Sailor Moon hentai doujinshi nor anything with hentai anymore (long while ago I stopped and I honestly now find those sketchy), and I think hentai's bad for people, it could unwantingly distort perceptions of characters people may like (I even saw one do a horrible one of Nausicaa, and I don't want my perception of that film ruined, it was scarring), sans looking at videos called "THE GREATEST GREATEST GREATEST GREATEST ANIME DUB EVER" that make fun of its bad dubs they get. I mostly nowadays look at regular doujinshis instead, like the Our Super Weapon R trilogy, that one's cool (and I got two of the five Moon Fight ones), and I'm looking to buy some on Ebay/Miss Dream, she actually has some for sale on her website.

- Anyone hear the news of Sailor Moon Crystal's version of the Dead Moon arc being 2 films, and how character designer and animation director for Sailor Moon, R and the R movie, Kazuko Tadano, is returning? I'm very excited to hear that as I think she was the best next to Ikuko Itoh.

- I also found out about said English patch for the Megadrive game, and it works beautifully. Makes me wish that game got licensed in the US though, it's my favorite Genesis/Megadrive game currently (it's not just a great Sailor Moon game but a great game in general).

As far as I'm concerned, no fandom can ever be as toxic as the Star Wars fandom. Prequel-hate, remember that? Granted, I absolutely hated The Force Awakens, but after a week or so of bitching, what did I do? Just shut up and walk away, and not bother with any of the new movies. Wash my hands of it, and just not take part in it anymore. But NOOOOOOO, all this whining about Last Jedi permeates EVERYTHING, and it's impossible to escape!

Oh my God, don't get me started on the Star Wars fandom, ugh. I hate it too. :x

I actually liked Force Awakens when it came out but now three years later, only see it as decent. Only saw part of Last Jedi and thought it was "meh". Not good, but not horrific. I'm not bitching myself either, as I'm afraid I'll get toxic hate, I'm planning instead to do some YTP trilogy sequel to the Star Wars series kinda (which would be some crossover thing and will include the Sailor Soldiers) but it would take time, and if I discussed it here this threat would go off topic.

I dislike how the fandom can get toxic at times. Like there were actual fans from the toxic Sailor Moon communities actually bullying people just because they dislike the Viz dubs for example. I mean it just hurts, you know.
Agreed. I'm not a fan of them myself, but I respect their opinions and still find them nostalgic, and let's be honest: if it wasn't for them, we wouldn't get Sailor Moon in the first place.

Hentai is not bad for people there is nothing wrong with depicting characters in a sexual light that is puritanical nonsense.

Though I actually agree with you, don't let the Mods/Admins hear that who already got nervous about that matter and completely removed the entire Hentai Section of this forum (Again thx for that, ~100 postings down the drain, grmbl ^_^) to evade "j(o)ur-is-(my-)dic(k)tional" kerfuffles. :mischief:

Btw, a "Happy" Halloween...
