Re: Sailor Moon's Father

So going through this thread I realised either no one had seen or thought about this page in the manga http://forums.mangafox.me/attachment.ph ... 1361906323 where Usagi refers to "Our Father, the Sun". This made me think that perhaps Serenity's father wasn't around during the Silver Millennium as he had his own planet to run, which Q.Serenity & P.Serenity couldn't visit as they wouldn't have the bodies to survive the heat of the sun. It would also go a way to explaining Serenity's blonde hair - although I'm more inclined to believe that her father had black hair like Endyminion's as girls tend to unconsiously (sp) go for guys that remind them of their fathers :eeklez:
Also if anyone's wondering who I am I'm MistressUsagiTsukino (or something like that >.<) - Minako's Love Godess on SM.biz :) I forgot my log on info XD :mischief:

Okay how's this link http://i1136.photobucket.com/albums/n49 ... de374a.jpg And also while it's true Usagi had silver hair in the manga she also had pink, blonde and white hair depending on Naoko's mood that day
I said Serenity, not Usagi. Serenity had silver hair, Usagi had blonde (the other colors were just Naoko having fun with colors).

As for the "Our father, the Sun" bit, that's a bit of a metaphor, since the Queen is the one who said it and the Sun watches over the Solar System like a father watches over his family in a protective manner. In fact, it wasn't in the original print run of the manga and was only added in by Naoko during the 2003 reprint run.

^win.

As for a serious answer, its mostly up to viewer interpretation at this point. As far as I am aware Naoko has made no official comment on it. Manga version I like to think was Immaculate conception. It makes sense as far as them always being able to continue the passing of the powers to the next generation.

As far as the anime goes, I have far different ideas on who her father is.

Not win. viewtopic.php?f=22&t=8643&st=0&sk=t&sd=a <---Previous topic before that topic that she/he decided to post as a reply. This particular topic introduces a subject where you choose from two different plots, not just generally discussion anything under the rainbow. So yet again, not win. I'm also not asking for official comments from the creator or canon evidence because I'm a veteran fan and I know they don't exist. I know there isn't anything said about the father, but question is what is your OPINION or choice in the subject. The whole purpose is perhaps discussing head canons.

I'll take, "That post was a joke" for four-hundred Alex.

Weird, I thought they mentioned that Queen Serenity picked the brightest star in the Cauldron or something for Sailor Moon.

Maybe I created that without knowing? Oo
You got that from some translation of the manga. Tokyopop, Alex Glover, Miss Dream... all of them interpreted the meaning of that scene slightly different from one another.

Re: Sailor Moon's Father

This is totally headcanon, but it may explain why Usagi gets put on the throne in Crystal Tokyo.

Perhaps Usagi's father in the Silver Millennium is none other than Tsukuyomi no Mikoto, the brother of the Japanese Sun goddess Amaterasu.

Queen Serenity was hermaphrodite, she vomited an egg like Piccolo Daimaho in Dragon Ball, and that's how Usagi was born.
