No, Princess Serenity doesn't have the goofy personality at all. She was good at things like dance, she never showed much care to other ppl as well. Other than their love to Mamoru they are quite different.

She could go to ask for it. Chibiusa was a child and still helped in the fight a lot. So was Chibiusa, despite being so immature, she was still able to help and wanted to help her mother.

She did have a goofy personality. She showed serious sides in the anime but also had that goofy crybaby side like her being mischievious in sneaking to the Earth and shirking her studies in the manga. So yes they are the same person with the same personalities.

Also what would that do. The main reason Chibiusa was able to help in the final battle of R is because she had the Silver Crystal of the future. Princess Serenity had no access to any other Silver Crystal or source of power so I am not sure what you expect her to do. Also why would she be more able to use it at that time in comparison to her Mother who had been using it for all this time? Which none the less in both the manga, Crystal and the 90s anime Usagi and Princess Serenity are the same person with the same personality. The only reason we don't see this goofy and silly side of Princess Serenity as shown in the manga is because the only scenes we see of Princess Serenity in the Silver Millennium are during serious and dire scenes.

She did not have very much in the way of fighting ability.

Likewise Princess Serenity at the time seemed like she didn't have very much combat training. Again she was not Sailor Moon at the time nor did she have the Silver Crystal so I don't see how you just expect her to star kicking rear and taking names with the Dark Kingdom back then.

For one at that point with what Endymion told her Beryl all ready took over and brainwashed the humans and most likely killed the Earth Leader that is if Prince Endymion wasn't all ready the Sovereign of the Golden Kingdom.

So again I don't know why you expect Princess Serenity who had no skills in combat and at that time had no real power over Earth to convince the "Earth Leader" to fight against Beryl. Also if that is the case why couldn't her mother Queen Serenity do it? She had the Silver Crystal and was the Queen of the Silver Millennium? Plus how do you know that said Earth Leader if the Earth Leader wasn't Prince Endymion didn't all ready side with Beryl or wasn't killed by her?

The Dark Kingdom all ready conquered Earth. So again I don't know why you think that Princess Serenity had some magical ability to prevent the entire attack like some fictional Mary Sue.

That was not my main point. Yeah she mostly didn't have her power, but why didn't she try to awake it, or try to do something to help earth as the heir? Even if Usagi got no power, she would not just stay back with Mamoru to watch the Inner Four fight.
