Why wasn’t there any tension between Mako and Usagi for Motoki like there was between Rei and Usagi for Mamoru?

Usagi didn’t try to mess up Rei and Yuichiro. She was spying on them and meddling in their business to try to get them together, whereas with Rei and Mamoru, she was stalking them for her feelings of not wanting to leave them alone together and wanted to hear what they were talking about or in her words “flirting” about. She wouldn’t say those things if she just interested in the date itself.

I am aware of how close Usagi and Rei are. This subplot even helped their friendship grow stronger due to that them getting over that tension and putting their friendship first.
But she didn't really want to mess it up as well, just got curious.

Usagi is never someone who would take such thing into a serious tension.

I believe it’s an episode from the first season. Mamoru becomes evil, Usagi cries, and during a moment of tension Rei tells Usagi to toughen up and fight to get Mamoru back—saying she gave up on Mamoru for Usagi.
Also because of Rei did feel a bit upset about Mamoru is not hers. She could understand Koan in R and help redeem her.

I know that Usagi wasn’t trying to mess up Rei and Mamoru’s date. I was saying that she definitely wasn’t stalking them just because she was curious about it, especially based on the things she was saying (see previous posts) regarding to their date that made her seem jealous of Rei dating Mamoru. Proof of this is the fact that she gets jealous of Rei inviting Mamoru to her temple and Rei seeing him naked, as Onuzim Ima said earlier. There was always at least some kind of tension between those two when it came to Mamoru, but of course like I have already said, they got over it and chose their friendship over boy problems which made them grow closer and had their bond grow stronger.

We got a little of topic there. It still doesn’t explain why Mako and Usagi didn’t have any tension when dealing with their feelings for Motoki.

Even when they got Reika “out of the way” , they seemed cool with either one of them having a chance with him.

Pretty weird since Usagi was crushing hard on him and even told Naru she had dibs on him. No tension with Mako, but jealousy and tense scenes (elevated after the reveal) with Rei when it comes to Mamoru. Hmmm.........

Because Usagi and those girls' relationship was stronger and she was not some who would take it into a cat fight.

The only time she really got angry was knowing Minako's friend "stole" her lover from her while it wasn't the truth.

That may answer the question for why there wasn’t any tension with Mako, but it’s still interesting how there wasn’t really any tension for Motoki (whom everyone thinks she likes so much) , but there was when it came to Rei and Mamoru (someone many people believe she wasn’t into).

Again I don't think she was bitter on Rei&Mamoru.

Even Rei didn't have any issue with Usagi while she surely was a bit sad, which is why she could understand Koan's feeling after she was dumped.

As for Motoki, sure, Usagi had a crush on Motoki, but not to the level of obsession/real relationship. She didn't have a huge ego to have him as her own like well, Queen Beryl did to Mamoru. She doesn't hate Reika as well. Same for Makoto.

When I mean she had tension with Rei about Mamoru, I’m not saying she’s bitter. You can be jealous without acting bitter towards someone about it, especially if you’re in denial about something or aren’t willing to admit it to yourself yet.

Rei sometimes still seems to have lingering feelings for Mamoru past season one, and sometimes would get jealous of Usagi drooling over Mamoru (like in the S episode where they got the violin show). I’m sure Rei means well, but things like that proves that there was at least some sort of tension between them when it comes to Mamoru.

There was Reika, who was the lover of Motoki, so I don't think she would have any kind of jealousy on Makoto, who was at the same position as her.

So then doesn’t that suggest that Usagi had real feelings for Mamoru? Usagi having a small probably shallow crush on Motoki and being okay with him with other people romantically, whereas she’s against MamoRei.
