One I've thought through entirely too much. Galaxia being a Saiyan.

"but I want more power. Stronger power."

Sailor Galaxia was born on a planet she referred to as "trash" and wandered alone and miserable for an unknown amount of time before discovering that she had the power of a Sailor Senshi. That power alone was not good enough for her, though: she had to have the strongest power in the galaxy, and so she left her home planet.

All well and good, until you get into the "why."

The Saiyans are a warrior race who pride themselves on their strength. Galaxia was most likely treated as low-class garbage due to being rather weak in her childhood. It's only natural she'd call a planet who's inhabitants picked on her "trash!" This explains her desire for "the Greatest Power in the Galaxy." As a means of validating her existence.

As she gained power, her demeanor changed to one not all that different from Saiyan Saga Vegeta, or other Saiyan elites.

As for her tail, she cut it off at some point, wanting to distance herself from her heritage. The same reason she ditched her star seed. To distance herself from that weak Saiyan child.
Holy crap that's awesome.

I actually came up with my own headcanon about the connection between Galaxia and the Saiyan.

I hate to admit it, but I also had a headcanon about Galaxia being a Saiyan. (This was obviously before Dragon Ball Super came out.)

More specifically, she was going to be a Saiyan-Tuffle hybrid born during the midst of their war, which would explain why she had such disdain for her home planet; she was rejected by both Saiyans and Tuffles for being of mixed heritage. Otherwise it was similar to Princess Venus' idea, with one exception - that initially, she actually genuinely tried to be a hero (especially after seeing the Saiyans win the war) only for the allure of more power to prove to be too great to resist.

But in terms of other, non-crossover headcanons...
  • The Makaiju/DoomTree aliens and their Tree were uncorrupted during the Silver Millennium and they had representatives which interacted with the royalty of the Moon. I also posit that in the time of Crystal Tokyo, the relations are restarted with this regrown race.
  • Because the Sailor Guardians are also princesses of their respective planets, much like Sailor Moon, they will have to one day ascend and give up their Guardian powers.
  • When Neo Queen Serenity arises and saves the world, all those with past lives from the Silver Millennium, not just the Sailor Guardians, will regain their memories and old bodies.
  • The Silver Millennium planets were habitable until its fall.

So I’ve been addicted to the Sailor Says Youtube channel and after seeing this clip

where Lita stresses “because girls need their real mother” and Mina interjects “there’s always an exception” its now my headcanon in the Optimum canon Mina was adopted or at least raised by her stepmother.
