Thanks for bumping this thread up, saturnbunny89: I do that all the time on this Zelda site's forums, where I have a different username, (Tuf Pic)!!!! I ca'nt link you to the forums directly, seeing as it has the same adress as the homepage, but you can go there directly by scrolling down, and clicking on the "Forum" link in the "General" section, and just in case you misinterpret the initials "BS", they do NOT stand for the vulgar term most of you might be familliar with: It stands for Broadcast Satalleview, the Satellite Modem the games, as well as some other video games, were aired on, usually in 4 parts!!!! There are 2 different BS Zelda games worth noting which are Ancient Stone Tablets, and LOZ remake!!!! Sorry that I got of on a tangent guys, but I just wanted to show you these games, and it IS ON THE TOPIC, SORT OF!!!!

Cartoon Zelda |
 |
|
|
Yes, the cartoon WAS HORRID!!!! There WERE a FEW good elements, such as the sheer hillarity of the king, or Zelda not being so helpless! Those are HARDLY redeeming factors however! One thing I should note is that there are also various Zelda mangas, such as the OOT (Ocarina of Time or in the Japanese original: Toki No Ocarina), Mujura No Kamen (MM, Majora's Mask), Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons, one version of an ALTTP manga, and Four swords+ mangas, by the female mangakas: Nagano S. and Honda A. also known by their more commonly known (and usually masculine), composite name: "Himekawa Akira". But they are NOT the only Zelda mangakas: there is also Cagiva Ataru, who did the LA and a version of ALTTP mangas. There are also Legend of Zelda and Adventure of Link mangas by Yu Mishasawa (Yes, you read correctly, there ARE/WERE LOZ/AOL mangas)! And there was a comic book by the [deceased as of 1988] mangaka Shotaro Ishimori, which was shown in Nintendo Power! Oh and by the way, I was also a bit disapointed in the Oracles, for several reasons: Capcom did several things in it that annoy me to no end! I do think OOA/OOS were good games overall, but they had several MAJOR problems, such as putting in leftover elements/characters from OOT/MM and NOT make it a sequel to those games, using an absolutely HORRID hairstyle for Link and giving Impa such an outrageously obese belly, not to mention sacrificing Zelda, even though Link might make an even BETTER Holy Sacrifice, especially since the colors of the three Dark Candles do NOT make ANY sense, due to them being: red, blue, and... Magenta?!?! Would'nt GREEN make much more sense? And they could have just spilled Link's blood on the (green) Flame of Despair to revive Ganon, could'nt they? And WHY does it HAVE to be a different Link, anyways? I would have preffered that ALL of the Links on the child timeline be the same! After all, it's not like there are THIRTY Peaches and Marios, all in succession, now is there? I happen to disapprove of MANY things in the oracles! So many that my head is ready to explode and conjure up a horde of bombs!!!!

The Zelda TV show was done horrible unlike the Mario cartoon.
However, some of the official artwork done by Nintendo on games like OoT and MM and even the Oracle games look anime looking.

And the Outer Senshi could parellel the three Oracles+Maple! And the masks parellel the Shitenou quite nicely, because both groups represent certain areas of their respective worlds: i.e. Sailor Moon Manga Earth and Termina!

Well here is how I see things.
WARNING: SPOILERS FOR SEVERAL ZELDA GAMES AHEAD
Zelda: Serena/Sailormoon(adult/teenager), Rini(child). She was a princess with "magical powers". Also, if you look at Tetra from Wind Waker, you can see that she was formally a princess in a past incarnation just like Sailormoon was.
Link: Tuxedo Mask/Star Fighter/Sailormoon(if he was a girl or if Sailormoon was a guy). Has magical powers and he is somewhat close to Zelda
Ganondorf: Wiseman(or Beryl, Nelehelina and Galaxia if he was a girl or if they were guys). Ganondorf is often cited as a dark lord. Beryl, Wiseman, Nelhelenia and Galaxia were also dark lords as well
Zant and Aghinam: Diamond and Zirconia. These 2 were "right hands" of the dark lord characters just like they were of Ganondorf in some of the games.
Goddess of Time(not really seen, but referenced in Majora's Mask): Sailor Pluto. Both of these delt with time
Saria, Sage of the Forest: Sailor Jupiter. Jupiter had some plant-like elements with things like Jupiter Oak Evolution
Daruna, Sage of Fire: Sailor Mars. Daruna may be a guy, but he and Mars both represent fire.
Ruto, Sage of Water: Mercury and Neptune. Sailor Mercury was for ice, Sailor Neptune was for water. Ruto represented both of these elements.
Navi, Tatl and Minda: All 3 cats but mainly Luna. Luna is like a sidekick and these characters served as sidekicks too.

SM compared to LOZ |

Have any of you guys heard of Legend of Zelda? I see parellels between it and Sailor Moon! 1) Zelda could be a Sailor Senshi, and the four female sages (with Impa as their leader, seeing as she's the closest to Zelda), could be her guardians! Link could be a counterpart to Tuxedo Kamen, and the four masks could be his guardians! Some of the villians in each series are comparable as well: the Ayakashi/Weird Sisters=the Teresa/Poe Sisters, and Death Phantom=Phantom Ganon! Cyprine/Ptiol=Kotake/Koume, because they have simmilar powers: i.e. fusion and splitting apart. What do you guys think?
