I like the new ranks because they are in Latin, especially Aurorae Lunares and Systema Solara :love:

And I like the little icons under the title.

But I think they had an artificial post count (we had a lotto thingie one time where the prizes were to change your post count to like a million or something), and it looks like it didn't make it over in the transition, since now the highest one is marspeach, who is a Systema Solare (but she was a Stella when we were at the old location, haha).

We decreased requirements for high ranks a bit, I think that makes sense since during six years no one at Genvid reached even Systema Solare (7,500+), to say nothing about higher ones. Plus people who actively participate in the forums usually get some kind of special rank for different achievements, and thus most of those few who could get regular ranks for high post counts would not be getting them anyway.

I think that's a good idea! All the ranks past aurorae lunares seemed so unattainable to me!

How about an update where we create a new rank for someone who has reached 20000 posts, it's possible if some of us really like this place. It needs to be fun, I was told that this place used to be alot more fun a year ago. Just PM me and tell me if you think that's true.

The top poster on the forum currently has 7517 posts - I don't think we need to worry about a rank for 20k for quite a while yet.

If/when that time comes, yes, there will be a rank created for it. But, seriously?

Assuming I calculated this correctly, that particular person would have to average over 34 posts a day for 1 year to reach 20,000. Which is possible, but I imagine their posts would have to consist mostly of emotes and 1 or 2 worded responses.
