I just installed a new mod showing stars below one's avatars for months or years of membership (also in the profile). Do you think it's a good addition? If you don't like it, feel free to say so.

I think it's a nice touch.

What happens when there's more years than how many stars will fit in the box?

I have set the maximum to 14 for now. If somebody manages to surpass this limit, I'm positive I'll devise some super special set of stars for them, that will be floating around one's avatar and covering with sparkles half of the screen.

I only have 2 blue stars.

I never saw something like it in other forums, so hey, nice touch.

It'll probably take me a few days to get used to it though.

There are two members with (artificial) joining dates before 1990, so yes, the limit is already surpassed. Right now, they get only one yellow star. None of them has been here for the last three years though, so perhaps we should just reset their joining dates?

I vote for "keep", it's a funny idea - as well as the new color schemes in the subforums (great job Maraviollantes!) . But then we should consider removing the "Joined" text field under the avatar - it has become redundant.

Nice touch. I only have one gold star for being a member for one year, not bad
So it takes 12 blue stars to make one gold star, 2 to make 2 years etc.
It also tells us how old a forum member is in terms of how long they have been a member of SMForums

I assumed you meant that you are not that woman, but have the same uniform and military rank. Oh well. Are you sure you don't have any real rank and a division or two under your command? I would not be surprised if that was true.
